Amazing genuine pet friendly stay in the High Country
We just returned from an incredible stay at this genuine pet-friendly escape (will accomdate up to 6 animals of all sizes!), and it was everything we’d hoped for!
The property is situated halfway between Benalla and Mansfield, down a charming farm track that gives you a true sense of seclusion but do come prepared as it is 5km from the local roadhouse or a half an hour drive to to get groceries (which suited us just fine.)
The interior is well layed out, with thoughtful touches and is beautifully decorated, from the cozy living room with a fireplace to the wellstocked kitchen and comfortable beds, every detail is meant to make guests feel relaxed and at ease. The huge fully fenced yard was perfect for our dogs, who loved exploring safely while we enjoyed relaxing on the deck.
This spot served as an ideal base for exploring the local history, including a day trip to Glenrowan to see the site of Ned Kelly's last stand, and we had a wonderful time visiting some beautiful wineries in King Valley. Bringing back a bottle to enjoy on the deck was the cherry on top. Communication with the host was flawless, and they even accommodated an early check-in, which we really appreciated.
