Mother & Daughter beach trip

Overall it was a nice stay, we loved the view of the ocean and hearing the waves at night. However, there were a few noticeable issues. The biggest concern was the balcony banister that was no longer attached to the deck on the bottom. A toddler could grab hold of it or lean on it and fall right off the balcony, same for a small pet. Otherwise, beach access wouldn't be accessible to everyone. If you are disabled or out of shape, walking up the very steep hill will be very challanging.

This was a great value with a view of the ocean and a walking path to the beach. You can even hear the waves from the room. As a dog friendly hotel I wasn't expecting quiet, but some will complain that you can hear neighbors every step upstairs and on the stairs.

Great view!

Great view of the ocean. A bit of a climb down to the beach. Unit was very clean. Missing a stopper for the bathtub but a wash cloth worked. Glad there was a bathtub! Coffee was good!

Honeymoon

Overall the room was okay, using the key to enter the room was difficult. There were gnats present in the vanity, the shower had difficulty with getting the regulator adjusting the heat of the water . Would of liked a better view of the ocean plus better access to it. We left at 7 am this morning.

Condo was clean, liked to ocean view. Beach access isn't exactly easy, the pathway/road was ok but it was very rocky and uneven to reach the beach from the path.

It's dirty, paints were off, smells. It was not what we booked We spent over 4 hours at the rental asked someone to help us. this local manager was not there at all. before we were checking out, we went to the beach, when we came back, our belonging were gone I question this organization all together. I think it is very dump to consider this organization in any place. We'd contacted our bank and ask to have our money back inside the room was ok.but outside was dirty and horrified. we have pictures, anyone wants it, you can ask me for a copy it is not what we booked . We booked a one bedroom condo

Great view

Kinda run down but great view. Shower water never got hot. Smelled and looked clean although a couple throw rugs would really help. Balcony does not look like pictures, it’s now mossy .

Just a quick get- away…

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, reasonably priced for what you get, unfortunately, fees/taxes were more than the cost of the room..Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

The views were great for the price. The lack of hot water was an issue. Our balcony door was missing the handle which is an easy fix. If you're finicky about cleanliness, this isn't the place for you as the wind alone will help bring sand inside. Overall it was cute and worth what we paid for it, off season.

outdated and little misleading on quality. patio door has no handle so hard to open/close. only 3 coffee cups and coffeemaker with coffee. No other kitchen ware, utensils, creamer, tea etc. Shower from 1970's, beds left like from 1970 as well

Dirty rooms, no parking, security issues

When we arrived, there was dog hair everywhere: on the pillow cases, the blankets, the floor. Seemed like the bed was made but sheets were not actually changed. We had to track down a staff member to get new sheets/pillow cases. We struggled to find parking. The ad stated one car per room. Both nights we had to park illegally in the parking lot because no spaces were open. The slider door in our room had a broken lock. Since the balcony’s are all connected, there was a possibility of someone being able to enter our room at any time. This posed a risk to us while we were there and to our belongings when we were not.

Immature cleaning girl at checkout

Cleaning staff at check out was extremely rude and immature with her communication. She sent the on site manager over to knock on our door as we were trying to pack up. I was late with my checkout but only 20 minutes. I apologized repeatly. I was alone with 2 young kids and it was taking longer than I expected. But I knew they had until 4pm that day to clean the unit and it was only 10:20. It was extremely rude. Also considering our room had not been cleaned when we checked in. This was the first vacation I have been able to take with my 2 boys in 5 years. It was very upsetting to my children.

Horrible beds

Our stay was fine. I was a little shocked to see that the beds were not queen size but full size and horribly uncomfortable. The description of the room was little off. For the most part very clean however area around the tv needed dusting and there was a baby bottle underneath one of the beds.The view and the sounds of the ocean definitely made up for the shortfalls of the room. Would I stay again probably in a pinch we would.

Rough from the start

The check in process was absolutely terrible. We could not get into our room so we had to call for assistance. The first girl we talked to was so rude and hung up on us even when I said I felt unsafe because we couldn't find our room. The second girl we talked to was much more helpful but still rude but we eventually were able to make it in the room. Overall the room was okay. It was upgraded from the pictures when I originally booked it (new flooring and a new table). Unfortunately the bathroom was dirty when we walked in, there were used towels still hanging on the shower and there were hairs around the shower as well. The beds were very uncomfortable also. The walls are extremely thin and we were able to hear the people next door and above us which kept us up. With that being said, the location of the room was quite nice we had an ocean view which was originally the reason why I booked this room. I might stay at this hotel again but the service I had with the VRBO was so terrible that I will not use them nor recommend them.

Ocean Views for Days!

Our stay was good. The biggest issues were parking and thin walls. The lot fills quick and there is no assigned parking. The walls are a bit thin so you hear lots of foot steps. The view, I believe, makes up for the other issues.

Shower was the best part

Room was as expected, nicer motel from what he had previously stayed in. Shower was great. Plenty of hot water and great pressure. Balcony was ok itself. Needs some paint and cleaned but view was nice. Our only negative is was the beds. There old and not very comfortable. My spouse and I slept in separate beds bc they caved in the middle and forced us to roll into each other. Room was clean and check in was a breeze. Manager was good. As our neighbor had barking dogs and someone else complained and she checked in with us to see if we were bothered as well and issue was resolved quickly
