"Property was exactly as listed and check in was seamless. Beautiful view from the deck and only minutes from Pomquet Beach., and 15 minutes from Antigonish. Cottage was spotless and everything you need is there. We would highly recommend it. "

"I can’t say enough about this property and the owners. Hugh was most accommodating and the property is very well appointed and very comfortable. If you want a quiet relaxing place to get away. This is it! "

"Absolutely perfect. The host is amazing, Alex checked in on us a few times and respected our privacy. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything, nothing missing. The property is beautiful. Just pack your suitcase, groceries and alcohol and you are all set. Thanks again for sharing this beautiful spot with us"

"A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly."

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. Two notes: There is no A/C (which I didn’t realize but that’s on me and not the fault of the listing) and if you come in August, bring some heavy duty deet bug spray. Mosquitos are no...

"This property was exactly what we were looking for. Stunning views and far away from the hustle of city life. The house was quaint and enough room for seven of us. There is no central air conditioning, just a heat pump on the first floor but opening the windows to the ocean air as Todd suggested was more than sufficient to cool the rooms down in the night. "Home wad built in 1947 and is dated, original kitchen and and home had a musty smell. No throw pillows or blankets for sofas, no wine or beer glasses, no coffee table erc. Electrial not up to date, had to turn everything of when not home because it was considered a fire hazard. For the price expected more from VRVO."

"Very comfortable. Jon and Marcie are great - very responsive. There is plenty of in-house entertainment for bad weather days and our dogs give it a 5-star review as well."
