We were so happy we rented this beautiful home . Love the decorating! This place is the most perfect I have come accross in decades of travel with the nicest, kindest, most accommodating hosts. Every need had been anticipated and any question quickly answered. We had picked this house because it seemed perfect for the little kids ages 1, 2, 4 and 10 and we needed an enclosed pool. Everything we dreamed of was in the house....several cribs, strollers, high chair, children's dishes and utensils. They loved it! The play houses,sandbox and loads of toys were amazing and the kids loved it all. It's such a relief to be able to relax outside while the kids are occupied playing. Floaties and volleyball net were a big hit, and the 4 year old learned to swim here!
The outdoor kitchen was brilliant....with extra dishes, fridge and dishwasher. The hose itself is so cute and roomy with 5 lovely bedrooms , bath, big kitchen and living room and playroom. There were even English shows on tv for the kids. We were all so happy and relaxed here at our first family reunion again after Covid!
We were received with sangria and delicious Portuguese snacks ..including sausage set alight on a ceramic pig..very cute!
The next day we ordered Paella fro Sandra and what an amazing meal that was! So much to see ...beaches, Sintra, Lisbon etc. We walked to the beach or into town which was lovely. The grocery store in Colares is great..with a very good and well-priced wine selection. A wonderful stay!
