Charming apartment in Santos, Lisbon
Beautiful apartment! 2 lovely bathrooms, updated kitchen, charming, comfortable common rooms. Public transportation close by as well as restaurants and grocery.

Lisbon Santos neighbourhood
I was able to communicate rapidly with a VRBO representative to help me. I had made a typo in my email address and could not manage my trip. The representative put me in touch by phone with the owner who communicated directly with me. The area is easy to figure out and access public transport to desirable historical and cultural sites. During our five day stay, we found excellent eating experiences within walking distance. We were 5 guests and the three bedrooms and two bathrooms suited us fine.

Family visit
Quiet, clean, convenient, this apartment has every amenity needed for a small family vacation. I was initially worried about no air conditioning during the height of summer but should not have been. The lovely daily sea breezes kept everyone comfortable. We all really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

great place
this was a beautiful old apartment/flat in a nice neighborhood close to lots of restaurants. it’s decorated with antiques and just adorable. there is a lot of traffic noise no matter where you stay so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs! i’d definitely stay there again

Wonderful stay
This was the perfect stay! The host was very quick to respond and made the process very easy. She even accommodated us dropping our bags early and staying late. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. An ideal location for visiting Lisbon! I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone!

Lola was wonderful she texted me the day before to check on our arrival time., and was there to meet us.The apartment was beautiful it exceeded our expectations It had everything we needed and them some. She us tips on where to go eat restaurants things to see.the location was great easy to get around on foot,and if you need a break the Tuk tuks were great and so much.to get around in . Thanks again for sharing your home with us my friends and I had a wonderful stay.

Lisboa neighborhood stay
The apartment is in a great location with restaurants and access to local attractions nearby. We also enjoyed the several markets within walking distance and the pharmacy just down the street. We felt very much at home for our weeklong stay. Location is great! It is a city apartment and as such has a lot of foot traffic going by but it is off the most well travelled streets so does get quieter at night. Smokers sitting outside the next door restaurants did keep us from fully taking advantage of the open air feel in the front living room; we kept those windows closed when smokers were sitting outside in the restaurant downstairs. The weather was unseasonably warm, so we used fans to move the air around; it got a little stuffy, so we appreciated the available fans. Our weeklong stay was much more enjoyable than a hotel would have been because of the appartment’s appointments such as the washer, dryer, towel dryer and the two bathrooms. The wifi worked so well and for my wired family was vital for planning and searching out the city and playing our online games. We had a great time enjoying Lisboa either on foot or with Uber and the apartment gave a wonderful place to regroup, revive, and get ready for the next day’s adventure…or just hang around enjoying each others company. I would highly recommend this apartment for adults who want a homey home base while experiencing Lisbon and the surrounding area, but don’t expect to find parking! Use Uber.

Centrally located Lisbon Apartment
The location was great but we travelled by car and had to find a long term parking garage to house the vehicle because there are no parking spaces offered with the rental. The flat has a convenient location within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping districts and cafes. We had two couples and one single in our group and we had plenty of room in the well appointed apartment. It was a very good experience and the property manager was very kind to wait for us as we navigated Lisbon traffic!

Large amazing apartment
Be sure and practise unlocking apartment door to get the hang of it. Stunning sitting area with demi balconies. Tiny bedrooms but you’re sleeping in there anyway. Two lovely clean bathrooms. Amusing long hallway to kitchen and bathrooms. We loved it.

Great location and a beautiful building
This spacious property was lovely! Great walking location yet a bit out of the high traffic areas. Our host gave us some great recommendations for dinner and things to do. Period details in the apartment but very nice modern bathrooms and kitchen. We would definitely stay there again.

Our stay
All and all very nice and spacious for a family of 5 Furniture in living room and dining room not very comfortable but beds were comfortable enogh. Kitchen pots and pans need to be replaced. Hard to cook with the ones provided but if you don't cook no problem. Area very close to most everything, and uber very convenient from there. Just some construction going on aruond the area with a little noise. We would recommend this stay.

Old World Elegance
This property was lovely from the beautiful wood floors to the high carved ceilings. Everything we needed was there, including a washer/dryer. Our hostess went out of her way to accommodate us and gave us helpful dining suggestions. Zapata was all she said it would be. The Mexican restaurant right next door should not be missed, great food and super friendly. Upon our next visit we will have to explore what appeared to be a lively and interesting area. Two days was a tease!

Great place to stay in Lisboa
The apartment was ideal for us. Great location within walking distance to Lisbon central, restaurants and public transportation. Would be nice if bedrooms had better access to outside air, or ceiling fans for circulation. Iola was a very helpful host and very responsive.

Loved the location, and the living room. Bedrooms were a bit claustrophobic with little/no natural light or A/C. Great new restaurant next door, Boca Linda, and lots of other good places to eat nearby.

Lovely Lisbon
This property was stunning and elegant. Perfect stay for a family of four. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, completely equipped kitchen including a washer and dryer which was very handy at the end of our stay. Lovely Old World Lisbon Flat
Had a very enjoyable one-month stay at this spacious and gracious flat in the Santos/Madragoa area. Close to so many lovely sites, museums, restaurants and more. Great location to get around. Comfortable beds and after moving a few things around for our personal comfort! Leather chair was very comfortable! Greeted with orange juice, bread and cheese! Thank you Iola ! One negative was lack of storage for us. 4 adults staying for 9 days no dressers in bedrooms, second bath no space to put toiletries. A couple of issues with maintenance but resolved. Overall great place

Perfect spot to stay in Lisbon
This is a wonderful flat, perfectly situated. We stayed here for 5 days, my husband and myself and our 2 adult children. The flat was spotless and easy to access. The two women who maintain the flat were there when we arrived and gave us great tips on where to go in Lisbon and provided us with a map. I can't recommend this flat highly enough. If we are fortunate enough to return to Lisbon we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our introduction to Portugal so terrific.

Great location but technically not in Bairro Alto but walkable. Nice apartment. 3 bedrooms was perfect for our family vacation. Food markets and great local restaurants really close. Portugal has the nicest people.
