Fantastic converted barn with a real ‘home from home’ feel. The outside space was gorgeous, loved the hot tub and watching the birds and bees. So quiet and peaceful. Lovely close walks for the dog and games indoors were an added bonus that entertained even our teens! We had everything we needed and Lesley had left a very welcoming set of goodies on arrival. Would definitely stay again and only wish we’d booked a week instead of a few nights.

Lovely peaceful setting. Lesley was very welcoming and the wine, freshly baked scones homemade jam were a nice touch. The house was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Access to an EV charger was a bonus too.Well recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Tamsin's Cottage. We really appreciated the personal touches, like the scones on arrival! Lesley was friendly and welcoming, but not overly intrusive. The fenced in yard was particularly helpful for our dog and toddler. Overall would highly recommend!

Der perfekte Ort zum relaxen

Wir haben 3 wunderschöne Wochen in diesem perfekten Cottage verbracht. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer zur Stelle wenn es nötig war. Sehr erfreut waren wir über das Willkommenspaket mit cornischen Leckereien. Dieses Objekt kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier Urlaub machen.

Lovely, relaxing stay

Stayed there with my husband and 2 dogs. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. On arrival the welcome pack was really appreciated and a lovely touch. The property is really clean and there everything you could possibly need there for a relaxing break. The scenery is breathtaking and so much to do in just short car journeys. Would recommend if you want to escape and unwind and see the beautiful scenery of Cornwall. Look forward to going back.

Lovely stay in an idyllic location

We stayed in Tamsins cottage for a week in late April, we had an absolutely fantastic time. Lesley went out of her way to make our stay perfect, from a range of greeting treats, to meeting us upon our arrival. The cottage was lovely, clean, nicely decorated, and housed pretty much anything you could possibly need during your stay. We even managed a spot of baking whilst there. The hot tub is an extra touch which we all loved spending time in and watching the visiting birds and rolling hills in the distance. All in all we had a lovely stay in the cottage with our children of 4 and 9 years of age. We can’t thank Lesley enough for her hospitality.The Startin Family

Hidden gem

After being let down last minute on a previous booking we found this hidden gem last minute. The cottage was very well equiped with everything you need, had super comfy beds and a cosy log burner to warm us up after a days walking. And of course the hot tub...bliss!! There was even a lovely thoughtful welcome pack. Would highly recommend and the area is stunning too

Fantastic homely environment

The cottage has everything you need and provides a welcoming homely environment. We stayed with family we had not been with for many years visiting other family members and enjoying some of the many things Cornwall has to offer. Excellent base would stay again

Fantastic stay, lovely quiet location, but with only a short drive to some amazing beaches / places. Great cottage and a lovely welcome pack provided by the owners to greet us, which was very kind and much appreciated! Would highly recommend.

Cottage stay

A lovely, charming cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beautifully situated, peaceful & quiet and the perfect location for exploring Devon abd Cornwall. The hosts couldn't do enough to make our stay extra special and hot tub was great.

Amazing place in a very quiet and secluded location. Perfect for families or couples who just want a peaceful romantic stay. Everything you could need is supplied. A lovely little private patio with hot tub and BBQ. Will definitely be returning in the future.

The most fabulous break

What a glorious property with the greatest hosts. The cottage was excellently equipped and the welcome package was divine. Everything was clean and extremely comfortable and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. It was great to be able to walk the dogs straight outside the cottage too. Lesley and James left loads of information on things to do in the area and the info on dog friendly beaches was really helpful. They were so helpful and lovely and we had a very relaxing stay 😀

Scenic peaceful cottage

Check in was easy, there was absolutely no road noise what so ever & we were left totally to our own devices throughout our stay, although the hosts were on handed if required. Welcome hamper was a nice touch.

Family holiday

This cottage was perfect. A home from home we was greated to some gorgeous home baked scones and jam that were delicious. Our dog loved the walk down the lane. Would definitely recommend.

Das Ferienhaus ist genial für alle, die Ruhe, Anti-Stress und Erholung suchen und dabei nicht auf Komfort verzichten möchten. Perfekt und gemütlich und bequem eingerichtet, hervorragende Betten, super sauber und grandios ausgestattet. Lesley ist zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit erreichbar. Gleichzeitig geht sie sehr respektvoll mit ihren Gästen um und lässt ein Maximum an Privatheit. Ein toller Korb mit Eiern, Milch, Scones, Marmelade, Wein und sogar Leckereien für unseren Hund hat uns begrüßt - das war nach der langen Reise sehr schön! Ihre Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants, Pubs und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht nur die Lektüre wert. Insgesamt wirklich ein toller Ort für den Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Teil Englands mit einer perfekten Gastgeberin! Wir sagen Danke!

Lovely little cottage

We stayed here for a week in June to explore Cornwall, it was very remote but easy to access the roads for travelling out, the cottage was very welcoming and cosy it had everything in it you could wish for , we did find it a bit cold although it was a summer month unfortunately it wasn’t much like summer so needed the heating just to take the chill out the air, the garden area could do with a little TLC but great for the dogs as safely enclosed. The welcome pack was a nice touch thank you even a Bonio for each dog , Lesley and her husband ( I’m sorry I can’t remember his name) anyway they were lovely very approachable and helpful in many ways I would definatly recommend this cottage for many reasons

Beautiful cottage

Wow a gem of a cottage.. the pictures do not do it justice as much bigger when you see for yourself...Lesley & James thank you so much for the welcoming gifts a bottle of bubbly,cookie's & eggs lovely gesture. The cottage was so clean & immaculate in my eyes... Loved the hot tub & enjoyed a game of ludo as well. Overall i wiil highly recommend Tamsins cottage for a peaceful time away as was much needed for me my sister & friends & of course rupert & buddy the cockapoos loved there stay & the safe roomy garden to play in. The beds bedding & pillows so comfortable i can't find a fault at all with our stay Thank you again Lesley & James you deserve a 10/10 for your beautiful cottage Kind regards Karenx

Amazing week

The location is perfect if you wish to be left alone, we saw 3 people all week. It was amazing and easy to find. Hearing the cows in the distance whilst in the hot tub will always be entertaining. The cottage was very clean, plenty of cooking utensils and books, games etc. the local Morrison was 15mins in the car, the parking was ideal just outside the cottage. I absolutely would recommend.
