"Great location, on site free car park (but small), clean room and nice bar and restaurant area. Everyone was super friendly. On site EV charging option is nice, but expensive for slow charge. Not great was a bit of sewage smell in bathroom in the morning and paper thin wall (you could hear everything what was going on around). But that was minor things, we had a lovely stay. "

"lovely period building / very Emily Brontë :-) Owners were very helpful and the rooms pleasant. Parking is a little convoluted as you have to go to the house collect the parking voucher and return to the car and do the same on departure but the car park is only a few minutes walk away. "

"All the staff at the Royal Oak couldn’t have done anything more to help us during our stay. From advising us how to get to Pen-Y-Pass, which routes to take up Snowdon and where is good to eat. The food was great and a good range of options for all on the menu. Hotel itself is a little tired and could do with decorating in some places but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to do Snowdon again (which is likely) and would recommend...

"Tyn-y-Coed Hotel is a beautiful place, right in the heart of nature. Surrounded by trees and greenery, it feels very peaceful, but it is also very convenient for drivers, located on the main road with lovely free parking right in front.
