"A night in a tent in a garden for £140 is a bit expensive specially for the quality of it. Floor uneven and cracked, and smelt a bit dump. Bathroom (in main house) is a bad design and water goes everywhere. We wanted to ask the owner questions, while they were in their private room, and as soon as we tried to get their attention, they went quiet and ignored us. They must have been able to hear me. I found it rude."

"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! "

"Stayed for 2 nights. Had a lovely stay. Callum checked when we would arrive and greeted us at the door. Had a nice breakfast, which you pick the time and food you would like the night before. "The Crags Hotel is conveniently located on the main street of Callander, making it easily accessible from the bus stop and surrounded by many activities. "Both members of staff were absolutely lovely and happy to help. The breakfast was good and the room was warm. The room is starting to need a bit of a refresh as the carpets and ceilings are worn, but its kept clean. It's great for the price. Its a little noisy with the pub next door so bring some earplugs. On hotel.com it says you need to ring 24 hours in advance but you don't. It opens when the pub opens that's all."
