Wonderful Property
We wanted something quiet and quaint. This wonderful cabin was it. Wonderful swimming pool and free roaming animals. We enjoyed it immensley!

Wonderful!
We had an awesome time at this location. Being able to interact with the free roaming animals was amazing. House was clean and we had everything we needed. Only issue was how far we were from stores be aware of the 25 minute drive to a grocery store.

Very special get away
My husband and I were looking for a place where we could get away from the city, relax, and stargaze for a couple of days. This place was perfect! There is no TV or internet (our phones still worked fine) which was an added blessing for us. The cistern pool and the horses and goats were the icing on the cake! Oh, and did I mention the stars at night ARE big and bright when you leave the city lights? Just wow! I hope we can come back to this little secluded cabin again!

Best getaway!
My husband and I came here for a long weekend getaway with our two dogs. We had the absolute best time!! The cabin was lovely and the land was fun to explore and the farm animals were so fun to watch and pet. We went golfing and to the Colorado bend state park, as well as staying at the cabin and enjoying the patio. Lovely place! Beth and Tom are some of the nicest people too. We really hope to come back.

Our Happy Place
We have been visiting since March of 2020. We came for the first time when the world was shutting down, and we were all very stressed out. The ranch became our escape, and we have been back many times. This is where we go whenever we need a break from the real world and time to reconnect as a family. My daughter just graduated from HS and will be leaving for Italy for college in a few months; we all knew we needed a trip to the ranch together before we could send her off. Thank you, Beth, for sharing your slice of heaven; we will be back.

Great way to disconnect
My family and I stayed here for a quick weekend get away. It was the perfect way to get the kids exploring and experiencing all that nature has to offer. The creek was flowing which made for great exploring. The pool cooled us off after walking around with goats and horses. My kiddos could not have been more in love than they were with the baby goats on the property. The cottage was perfect for our family of five and had all the necessities. Thank you, Miss Beth, for a fabulous weekend.

Fantastic for that leisurely weekend
Great hosts who know how to cultivate a relaxed spot. The cabin and property make for a perfect spot to relax and forget about life for a weekend. You can easily easily enjoy a nap on the porch for an afternoon after a grilled lunch or have the horses and goats walk up to you to be pet.

Amazing!
This is our second time staying on this property we loved it so much we had to come back! The goats are precious & my absolute favorite! It was myself, my husband, 4 yr old & 15 yr sons & a family friend. Everything about the property, it’s history, animals, cozy cabin even ALL the toys for our little was amazing! We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. The goats we just loved. Me and my Fiancé love nature and animals. I had a few people request information about this place. They even said how peaceful and relaxing it looks when i posted pictures on FB. Everything was perfect and Beth was as sweet as can be.

Peaceful Getaway
My husband and I just wanted to get out of the city and have a nice, relaxing mini-vacation in the hill country. The property is large enough that there were plenty of places to hike, which we enjoy. We also LOVED the swimming trough as it was refreshing after a hot day of hiking. The cabin was cozy and the perfect size for a couple. Our little dog went, but next time I will leave him home as there are horses and goats coming and going on the property. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

Short escape
We and our two small fur babies really enjoyed the quaint cabin nestled in a grove of trees on a real ranch. Secluded and disconnected. The wildlife and farm animals were everywhere. We even received a short visit from a friendly gelding. We did a little exploring in the neighborhood and really enjoyed the San Saba nature park. The cabin in the woods was a nice escape before we headed back into the classroom.
