"First of all, this is probably the most unique property we have ever stayed in. Is it a camper? Is it a cabin? It's both! This is a great property near Kettle Moraine tucked away in a secluded wooded camp. "The decor of this property made me truly feel like I was in a treehouse. They were attentive to every detail. The only thing that I would change would be to have a bathroom downstairs. We stayed upstairs so it wasn’t an issue, but if another family were to stay downstairs, it might be. They’re online guidebook gave us ideas of things to do in the area, which we did and enjoyed. "It was a totally different experience...better than backpacking yet not as many comforts as a hotel room. However, we really enjoyed the experience. Loved that we had an electrical outlet and for some reason not a bug got into the tent. Bonus!"

"Beautifully maintained and charming cabin with gorgeous views of the lake. Really appreciated how well the a/c worked on the unseasonably hot weekend we stayed. Hosts maintained great communication, even asking us to water the flowers, which we did not mind a bit, doing our part to make sure the backyard stayed beautiful during the hot weekend. "Our family all stayed at Kathy’s place to celebrate the 4th of July together. It was different than other rentals we have stayed at for we didn’t feel like renters, rather we felt like family. Kathy was extremely hospitable and made us feel extremely welcome. We were amazed at how well stocked the place was as it seemed like she had everything we could possibly need. "When I booked the location I had no idea it was above the roadhouse. We ended up eating down at the bar/grill and meeting some of the nicest folks and having an awesome time with the locals! Noise wasn’t an issue at all. Our main reason for staying in the area was EAA air show. "

"This property is amazing! We called it the "Hobbit House" because of it's shape and how it looks like it is growing out of the hill. However, inside is very spacious and well layed out. We stayed here for our first family vacation and had kids as young as 2 all the way up to my mom, who is 75. "We had a multi generation family gathering for 6 people & there is ample, comfortable space. There are 3 levels with the sub-level being the coldest escape as we were there on hottest 101 degree day. The upper loft has beautiful tree-scaped veiws through massive high windows, but heat rises so of course was warmer. Full kitchen with all cooking/eating supplies & provided spices/condiments. The backside of building has shared condo beach on Kettle Moraine Lake & individual condo beach seating......
