"The house sits high up on the hill with a big deck overlooking the lake. Viewing the lake with coffee in AM, watching the lake activity during day and seeing the moon and lights across the water with a glass of wine at night was lovely. The lake in front of the house is a no wake zone which affords a calmer setting which was really nice. The owner lives in the area and was quickly attentive to answer questions and resolve any small issues that came up. Highly recommend this home."

"This house was a great find! We were attending a wedding at Lake Hopatcong and instead of staying in a bunch of hotel rooms, we choose this home. Four spacious bedrooms, extra beds for additional guests and everything we needed to enjoy being together as a family. Having to travel from North Carolina, my husband and I had to work remotely one day during our stay. The bedrooms upstairs had nice desk space to accommodate private space for us to work. "We stayed here for the PA Bacon Fest. Location was awesome as it is in the square with the bacon festival. We were able to easily park in one of the town garages and walk out the door into the festival each day. There are great restaurants near by. Apartment was nice and clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Only complaint as others have noted is that the ceiling must be very thin as we could hear every footstep of the upstairs apartment. "We were of 4 families, 15 people total. The house was well equipped to accommodate everyone. Safe for toddlers, Diego has gates installed in front of the stairs. Bigger kids had a blast in the game room and with the bunk beds. Short drive from NYC and still feels remote, with great views woods and mountains, plus a few local farms. Highly recommend!"
