Fantastic Family Holiday

We had a fantastic stay in The Corn Barn and will definitely return. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything anybody could ever need, and more. The beds were very comfy and we all slept very well. The Hot Tub was used every day, there's nothing better than relaxing in it with a cold glass of wine and stunning views over the countryside! Our children loved the park, and our 10 year old enjoyed the freedom of being allowed to 'pop over' to it whenever she wanted! Thank you Graham and Jane for allowing us to share your lovely property, and being such amazing hosts!

A lovely weekend escape

The Corn Barn is a beautiful place. We stayed as a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 toddlers). The cottage was spotless and spacious and had everything we could need. The living quarters are above the bedrooms which came as a small surprise! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Kitchen and dining areas are really well equipped and we had everything that we needed. We made some special requests which were all taken care of ahead of time (cots, high chairs and a stair gate). We had use of the hottub during our stay and this was a highlight! Really spacious and sheltered with nice views of the rolling hills. The hottub is set a little away from the cottage so it does require a short walk which we weren't expecting but didn't really mind. There was free parking on site (inc EV points) and it is a short drive to all the local places of interest. Some nice touches: Fully stocked kids cupboard full of toys and games, childrens books etc. TV included netflix and a Nintendo Wii console. Childrens play area A lovely welcome hamper on our arrival. Our only small gripe was the check in and check out times which at 5pm and 9.30am, respectively felt a little restrictive (Graham was able to extend our check out time by an hour which we were pleased about). Overall, an excellent stay and a place we would highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning place and location!

As a big group of 8 (4 couples), we stayed in the Corn barn for our stay and i was absolutely blown away from the moment i arrived. The building was lovely and really well equipped with everything you need for your stay, even down to the little things! Hosts were lovely and just left us to it once we settled which we liked, and the location was perfect as a base for exploring Looe, Newquay, Plymouth and more! The Hot tub was a bonus aswell, our favourite spot on the evenings. I would definitely go back! Thanks so much for having us.

Amazing accommodation with peaceful surroundings

A fantastic place tucked away with beautiful views. The accommodation was immaculate & very well cared for. The views from the hot tub were amazing, very peaceful & tranquil. The owners were very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property! Very clean and well equipped. Hot tub situated in lovely garden with amazing views

We stayed in the Corn Barn for a week and had an amazing time. The property is situated in a lovely setting with great gardens. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner Jane & Graham who were very welcoming and showed us around. We had use of our own hot tub which overlooked the lovely country side. We can only recommend this property.

Lovely escape

What a beautiful property and surroundings! Accommodation was spotless, beautifully finished and the garden areas stunning The owners were friendly and welcoming - nothing was a trouble. I would highly recommend this whether you’re a couple, a family or a group of friends - all can be accommodated without spoiling the peace and privacy

5 ladies had a week here , what a beautiful cottage . So clean & spacious . Hot Tub for our Cottage alone was massive & overlooked the Valley . What a setting . The Owners were very accommodating, especially in these times with the Endless Rules due to Covid . We will definitely be returning .

A lovely holiday property in a gorgeous country setting

A nice, spacious barn with all the amenities you would need. It comes with a lovely log burner and even a hot tub for all guests. Graham and Jane were fab hosts who offered lots of helpful advice about the local area and even allowed our two year old to feed their chickens...which he loved! They made us feel very welcome. The only disappointing factor was that the beds were a little too hard (this maybe just down to personal preference) and there was a lot of dust underneath them.

Even better than the photos

The corn barn is an incredible 4 double bed property on an idyllic farm. It has a massive open kitchen diner and living room, which easily fits 8 adults with tons of space. 3 bathrooms (1 ensuite, 1 main and 1 WC off the kitchen) are plenty. You get your own garden out of the kitchen with a coal BBQ and washing line, and then a shared garden near the hot tub where the chickens roam and views of the sea can be had on a clear day. The hosts are brilliant and we couldn't recommend the place anymore, we want to be back there already! Tons of space and just a 5 minute drive from a few beaches (our favourite was Seaton) and Looe, which is a lovely town. A perfect place to stay.

The perfect place to explore the southern coast of Cornwall from. Very clean, comfortable and corona virus restrictions were implemented very thoroughly yet unobtrusively.
