Lovely Spacious Home with Gorgeous Ocean View
What could be better than waking up every day to a beautiful sunrise visible from the spacious king bedroom? Step outside to enjoy a breakfast with gorgeous ocean views and watch the birds welcome the day as you listen to the sound of waves rolling into the rocky shore below. We were even blessed to see a mother whale and her calf breaching just off shore. Everything at this lovely home was perfect. The kitchen was extremely well equipped for cooking. We loved the large range with 6 gas burners and had all the cookware and knives we needed. The bed and all the furniture was very comfortable, storage space was ample and the washing machine was large enough to wash all our clothes. The hosts were extremely friendly and responsive. Always available, but never intrusive. There were many choice of good restaurants in the area. For a delicious good value meal we liked Taqueria El Viejo and for a special night out, Santuario was heads above the other nice restaurants. For a nice breakfast or drinks by the beach, visit La Playa. The passion fruit smoothie was world class. And, of course, the home is just 1.7k down the road from the Tres Palapas Pickleball Resort where we met many friendly players from all over the US and Canada and enjoyed lots of good pickleball, as well as some good food and drinks.

Vacation from snow!
Brian and Lucy were fabulous! They answered every text and question immediately and helped make our stay perfect. The Casa is large, with an amazing view of the Sea of Cortez with daily whales sightings. Of course, sunsets and sunrises are always the best. The kitchen is well stocked, great washer, and dryer, which we used as we were in Baja for three weeks. A very comfortable bed while listening to the sea all night. It is a few minutes from los Bareilles by drive, but we enjoyed getting out of the rush and back to our Casa. We would definitely stay here again as this was our second time at this property.

Gorgeous home
We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Tortuga. Brian and Lucy were wonderful hosts. They were both very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The home was gorgeous and in a perfect location overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The home was immaculately clean, well-appointed, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The home was bright with incredible lighting from the oversized windows and sliding doors. The king sized bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed sleeping with the sliding door open so we could hear the sound of the ocean. The two bathrooms were clean, spacious, with plenty of luxurious towels. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The outside areas were spacious, with lots of comfortable seating, tables, bbq grill, and amazing views. The property's landscaping was spectacular with plenty of palm trees, cacti, and flowers. We saw and heard lots of hummingbirds and butterflies. If you play pickleball, the home was a very short drive (about 1.5 miles) to Tres Palapas, a fantastic and fun location to play pickleball and socialize. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful Casa Tortuga
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Tortuga! The house is beautiful, clean and comfortably furnished with a fully stocked kitchen. The ocean views are absolutely breathtaking from every window and especially from the spacious verandas. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Safety, security and privacy are not a concern as the gracious hosts, Brian and Lucy, live (very unobtrusively) on the grounds. Casa Tortuga is truly one of the finest properties we've ever stayed and we recommend it highly!

Brian and Lucy are the epitome of hospitality! They have one of the most comfortable, beautiful, and neatly appointed properties on the East Cape. We had everything we needed in a comfortable clean environment to enjoy our honeymoon! We can't say enough about the friendly welcoming atmosphere they provided. We absolutely would stay no where else.

Fantastic Baja property
This was our second time renting on this property and we absolutely love it. We stayed at the small casita next to the waters edge last year, and this year we stayed at the main house. You can't go wrong with either one. Gorgeous views and great location. We travel a fair amount and this is probably the nicest rental we have ever had. Loved the space and layout. Everything was in nice condition and those views....Wow.

Absolutely Wonderful Place
We had a great experience here, and in the Los Barilles area. The owners were friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The house was spectacular, with, among many things, amazing sunrises, great spaces to hang out, inside and out, plenty of open space, and everything we needed. We'd come back in a second.

Beautiful and serene
Spectacular, quiet location overlooking the sea of Cortez. We woke up to gorgeous sunrises every morning, and spent our days wing foiling, kayaking and exploring on land and sea. The Casa is far enough from town to be quiet and private but close enough that running to town for a meal or shopping was easy. Our hosts Brian and Lucy were friendly, helpful and full of good tips on what to do and where to go. We can’t wait to come back!

Gorgeous Beach Front property
Jaw dropping views on a peaceful property with amazing hosts. We woke to the sun and fell asleep to the moon, and enjoyed the waves inbetween. Easy access, filtered water, excellent water pressure and amenities, and the best vacation we’ve had to date. We will be back.

Beautiful and serene get-away.
My husband and I stayed at Casa Tortuga for two-and-a-half weeks this past February and had a spectacular time. The casa has an amazing view of the Sea of Cortez where we enjoyed watching sun and moon rises from the bedroom, living room and lanai. The casa is well-equipped and has lovely artwork to enjoy. The hosts--Brian and Lucy--are some of the nicest, most responsive people we have had the privilege of working with. We look forward to visiting again!!!

Las Barriles Paridise
Gorgeous home on a spectacular piece of paradise just a short distance from the center of town. The owners are some of the nicest people you will meet, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they make sure you have everything you need. In short, they are Canadians. Which explains everything in my opinion. I will never forget waking up every morning to the sight and sound of the ocean waves pounding the beach below our beautiful villa. I could have stayed there a lot longer if I could. Hopefully, someday I can. If so I will look for a place just like this.

Amazing home on the waterfront so easy access to great snorkelling, kayaking and swimming. It was quiet and beautiful to watch the sunrise in the morning and the stars at night. I highly recommend this lovely home!

Would stay here again!
The pictures of the house are very accurate. It's spacious, up-to-date, and with a great view. I would stay here again! We enjoyed many walks on the beach and made use of the kayak which was great in the morning. It's close enough to town to be able to drive back and forth with ease although it is a long dirt road before you can get back onto the paved road. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Casa Tortuga Get Away
We vacationed here over the Christmas holidays, and had a great time at Casa Tortuga. It is a beautiful home, exquisitely decorated, had all the amenities you could ask for. The home was very, very comfortable to live in. The best part was waking up to view palm trees and ocean, every day. The sound of the surf put you to sleep every night. There were 180 degree views from the well stocked kitchen. Great TV & sound system. We used the kayaks a few days, my husband actually bought fish right in from of the casita. Brian & Lucy were fantastic hosts, making sure all was taken care of. Would definitely be back.
