Amazing Stay - The house, vineyard, and farm could be your whole vacation!
Absolutely an amazing stay at this property. Being able to take a tour of the vineyard and farm was awesome. All the personal touches were so fun, cruiser bikes, chippers/garden bag to pick fresh fruit and vegetables, check-in gift, custom soaps all of which made the trip. In fact the last night we cancelled dinner reservations, biked to local store to get steak, picked fresh vegetables for dinner, and played bocce ball. You will not regret staying here just remember to go into town once or twice or you may forget too!

Simply Amazing
Property was as advertised! Clean, spacious, accommodating, romantic and has all the convenience and needs you can ask for. Host set up a precious welcome package awaiting our arrival. I highly recommend it to anyone. We plan to return.

Gem of a getaway!
Our stay was incredible! A great weekend getaway in a quiet, relaxing and beautiful place with all the right touches. The last minute tour was such a cool vibe and the organic veggies for dinner were amazing. Great location with great hosts, Shawnda and Sam. Thank you for making it such a great experience for us on our anniversary!

Simply Perfect Santa Ynez Wine Retreat
This is a beautiful setting and property for a getaway with friends. It is perfect for two couples. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with our morning tea and coffee and watching the birds enjoy the fountain. Very private and quiet. Great location for getting to wineries and Solvang. The communication with the owners/mgmt. was 10 +. Well-appointed amenities. Some added special touches were quite nice (you'll see... ) I highly recommend this rental and would return again when in the area.

Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway!
The Retreat was exactly as pictured/described and was the perfect accommodations for our weekend girls trip. We came up to Los Olivos via LAX, traveling from the east coast. We got in later than expected due to some flight delays, but the check-in process was easy and the hosts even left a few lights on for us when they knew we’d be arriving on the later side. Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms was perfect. Lots of really nice details, like robes, a bottle of wine, a charcuterie board, and a nice welcome message! It was a ~5-7 minute walk to the grocery store and about ~25 minute slow walk into town. Perfect location to walk to the tasting rooms and walk home. Only regret is not booking our trip for longer!

Amazing weekend getaway!
Wow, from the moment we arrived to the time we had to leave, we had the most amazing stay. Everything was so comfortable. The town of Los Olivos was fun to explore with incredible food and shops. We would definitely love to come back!!!

We had a wonderful weekend and even though it rained, everything was amazing. Adorable little cottage in the vineyard and the host made it so special with all the extra touches. We will definitely be back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Wonder Stay in Wine Country
What a wonderful rental if you want to be close to everything in Santa Barbara wine country but also feel as though you on a secluded vineyard away from the action. The rental was perfectly described and had all the amenities we expected. You are within walking distance from Los Olivos and a quick drive to anywhere in the valley. The hosts were fantastic communicators and helped us with recommendations which were fantastic. We look forward to our next stay at the farm!!

Wonderful retreat with stunning views
Relaxing experience, a short bike ride from Los Olivos. The views are absolutely stunning and the farm provides fresh veggies for any meals you decide to make there. Love this place.

Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful property in Los Olivos. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. The beds were comfortable, the house had everything we needed, and there were many special touches like a cheese plate, restaurant gift card, crackers and wine at the house upon arrival. The bikes were a fun way to get to town, which is a short ways away. The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting on the front patio looking over the grapes.

Little slice of heaven
My husband and I wanted to show my parent’s Santa Ynez Valley while they were visiting from out of town and Sam and Shawnda’s home was the best setting for the weekend. The property is surrounded by a huge gardens that were beautiful to walk through and a horse farm that made you feel even more connected with nature. Beautiful views from the patio were the perfect back drops to our morning coffee and breakfast and afternoon games of rummy. Check in was so easy and they had fresh snacks and wine ready for our arrival. The house is so charming and the perfect place the call home for the weekend. We will back. Hopefully sooner than later! Thank you Sam and Shawnda!

Impressive
Absolutely wonderful! My kind of clean, super comfy, very welcoming. We needed to stay in the area for a college graduation. Even though UCSB is about 40 min away it was totally worth the drive. We loved the privacy. The views of the vineyard are beautiful! Very calming and peaceful. Perfect if you’re looking to get away from the city. We had family come over for cake and they couldn’t stop raving about the place. Didn’t want to leave. We all ate at the owner’s cafe. The food was fresh and delicious. Five stars all the way around. We are definitely coming back soon.

Beautiful and Peaceful Retreat
This is the third time we have stayed at this property and it gets better every time. The owners have thought of every detail and communicated all information including maps for wine tasting excursions and restaurants. They really went above and beyond. The guest house/cottage was immaculate and had everything you would ever need and is very quiet and secluded though it is close to everything. The views all over the property are stunning, from the balcony, the fountain with beautiful birds, bocce ball, the vineyards and the gorgeous sunflowers on the other side. We will keep coming back here always. Thank you!

Loved the location, the cottage is very charming with breathtaking view of the vineyard….close walk
Our overall experience was a very good one with very nice and very accommodating hosts. My only complaint is the upstairs shower did not have much water pressure. Our guests who stayed in the downstairs bedroom did not have the same problem with their shower. I would highly recommend this lovely little gem!!

Perfect from start to finish
Very friendly and responsive communication from the property owner. The place is beautiful, it's like being in your own little cottage in Provence. Vineyard Paradise
When it comes to staying on a Vineyard, it can’t get closer than this little gem! We celebrated our 35th Anniversary, and it was everything we could had imagined from the moment we drive through the gate. We were escorted and welcomed by sweet Penelope (dog), and when we walked in, a bottle of their Bernat Vineyard wine was waiting for us with a most beautiful cheese board! Normally, I like to unpack and settle in, but we didn’t make any further than the shaded patio to start enjoying the beautiful tray and vineyard. It was so epic as we have never felt we were on relax mode so quickly!! The cottage was sweet and cozy and had everything we needed. It was clean and stocked. Let’s not forget our most favorite Cafe’ (The Wine Merchant), that we never miss going to each time we have been in the area for the past 10 years! The bocce ball, picking vegetables from the garden, taking strolls along the ripening vines was so perfect! Thank you Sam and Shawnda for a trip we will always remember!! Cheers!🥂

Perfect get away

Perfect Escape
The retreat is absolutely perfect. The retreat came with everything we needed and it was close enough to walk into town. The setting felt secluded and was quiet.
