"We were there for our granddaughter’s wedding at Adaland Mansion. This was a convenient location for traveling to and from the event. The house was beautifully decorated and very roomy for a large family. Everything was clean and comfortable. The rain kept us from enjoying the outdoors but there was lots of room for outdoor sitting and grilling. Sherry is an exceptionally good host. I would recommend the riverfront home to anyone traveling to that area."

"It's a nice place, kitchen has everything you need, plenty of room for 4 adults + some kids. Good luck finding a better spot with a WV back country woods off a beautiful deck. Minor cons: WIFI is incredibly slow an will go out completely with clouds. Going up stairs can be challenging if you are over 5 foot. Check-in process needs an updated lock box."

"Me, my husband, and our 3 teenagers stayed here and absolutely loved this property! The house is beautiful, spacious, and equipped with everything you could need! The Kitchen is well stocked and even had basic cooking pantry supplies like salt, pepper, sugar etc. The huge deck out back is perfect for relaxing and listening to the birds chirp or watching the kids play in the river and eating meals at the large outdoor dining set. "The house was a little hard to find the first day but we were fine getting around after that. We were welcomed by Sharon, who couldn’t have been more helpful. The house is very nice. "We had a great stay here at the Muskie-Lounge River Retreat!! We were here for my son’s wedding. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The Tenney’s were flexible on check-in times and allowed us to get in a bit early to be able to shower/change from traveling before our rehearsal dinner. Evenings spent on the deck around the fire was very relaxing!! Would for sure bring the family back again!"

Saturday saw us entertaining cousins for homemade soup and games. Mike (property owner). "We vacationed in Buckhannan so we could attend the barbecue contest. We had a wonderful time. We even accidentally locked ourselves out and the host responded and got us access within a half hour. The accomodations were updated and tastefully decorated. The hottub was an absolute blessing after hiking. I would stay here again. I would definitely rate them as an A."
