We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"Perfect cottage for our five day stay. Everything we needed was available. It was spacious and comfortable. Janet, The host was lovely. We also loved the location. Short walk to Galway Bay and short drive to the ferry to get to Inis Mor. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend this cottage if Western Ireland is your destination. "

"This assemblage of cottages is perfect: gorgeous views, lovely garden, tasteful, comfy furniture and useful fittings -- not the usual, drab IKEA (or worse) style but a warm, personal, entirely cozy house. And with good books to boot! Even if it should, occasionally, be raining (which it didn't while we were there), you never feel indoors. Perfect place for nature and book lovers. "

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"We had a very lovely stay at ARD VIEW with Ann being an extremely generous host! The 180 degree view over the bay is stunning and we enjoyed it at all variations of weather that we had in one week. The apartment is cosy, spacey and well equipped with everything you need. Being thus close to heaven, the 47 steps were worth climbing. Recommendation: don‘t bring too much luggage ;-). "Fab house un fab location with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Pictures doesn,t do It justice. "Clifden is a lovely little town. The place was much bigger than expected and we all had plenty of space to stretch out. We did have a snafu with one of the internets, but it was explained that the place downstairs is remodeling and likely cut the line. The other WiFi worked great! Shower pressure was a little light, but nothing that was terrible. Overall, we would definitely rent this place again and stay for much longer next time in Clifden!!"

"I stayed here with my 2 teenage children and our dog. We loved the house and location. Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. We all slept well in the calm and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks a million"

"The cottage was as expected. It was quaint and quiet. The scenery was beautiful. Mike met us at the property and went through everything we needed to know. He followed up later to make sure we didn’t need anything. He was quick to return our call when we had a question. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Mary the house keeper/property manager does a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but there are serious things that need addressing in order to maintain the house: the house has damp - stained peeling wallpaper shows this, as do the mushrooms growing out the beam by the front door. I'd urge the owner to get this under control before it takes hold of the property. A few features in the description are untrue: there is no games...
