"We've been coming to the cabin for a few years and enjoy our stays immensely. The kids can ride bikes, roam and wade on the campground roads and river. Location is fantastic - convenient to Littleton (great restaurants and shops), Bethlehem (Rek Lis Brewery) and some of the best hiking in NH. Minutes from Mt Washington, Santa's village, Appalachia trail head and Zealand/Crawford notch. Far from the crowds in Conway and Lincoln but close enough to visit. "

"Renter beware. This is a transformed shed. The loft with a mattress is a box storage area. Not for people of size or age. The second bed is a small futon. River is not accessible because of erosion and broken glass. The river at this spot is not a place to swim because of debris building materials and car parts . The river view is spectacular and bird watching was good. A few other things but the owner said he would address those issues. Then weather was great! "

"We were three couples and three grandchildren (ages 5, 1, and 1). Our stay at Alex’s house on the lake was absolutely wonderful! The house was as described, so there were no surprises. "This cabin is a wonderful experience that any couple should enjoy at least once. The calm serenity and private ambience led to the relaxation that myself and my wife desperately needed. " Joe and Donna’s lake home is beautiful with all the amenities and comfort’s of home. This is now my “happy place”! I especially enjoyed being able to use the canoe and kayaks and have unlimited access to the pond. We saw beaver, Canadian Geese and even a loon during on our stay. Joe and Donna are very responsive and full of tips on hiking and sightseeing in this beautiful countryside. I can’t wait to book my next stay! "
