"Generally the property was in good order. Unfortunately the garden areas are not well maintained and this detracts from the overall look of the property. The location is ideal for visiting Aldeburgh and the surrounding area. Basic essentials are somewhat lacking and one or two maintenance issues."

"The chalet was clean and comfortable apart from the ants in all bedrooms and bathroom, they got into handbags and luggage. It’s a quiet location. However internet was down. the smoke detector works when you use toaster or cooker. So had to have cold or eat out. So couldn’t really use as self catering. Ants and smoke detector really let it down if those issues were sorted would be lovely"

The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. The courtyard garden was unloved and the patio furniture was dirty. The flowerpots outside the front door were full of weeds,...

"This place exceeded my expectations! We had a group of 11 girls staying here and the house was beautiful, spacious and had everything you could ask for. Jonathan was a pleasure to communicate with and was able to answer questions I had, very promptly and with ease. One of the guests is already looking to book this place again for another event. 100% would recommend."

"This location suited us because of friends living nearby. However, being situated on a busy main road with No on site parking may not suit all. The cottage is clean, tastefully decorated and spacious but unfortunately has a damp problem, especially in the entrance hall and main bedroom, which means there is a musty smell throughout."
