"A very peaceful and relaxing environment. Quick and easy access to beach from cabin where we enjoyed early morning walk with our dog. We stayed late in the season so essentially had the place to ourselves, which we highly recommend if you like a quiet getaway. Lots of walking trails in the immediate area. Highly recommend."

"We spent 4 nights at Birch Haven in July. It’s in a lovely, quiet, remote location just under 9 miles from Lubec. The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable, surrounded by woods. The pictures are an accurate representation. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the deck, listening to birds, watching squirrels do their thing. We saw deer as we drove in and out of the home and spotted seals in the harbor. Really loved watching the tides come in and out, and smelling the sea. The tidal range was...
