Okemo family weekend 2024
Great weekend! Don't be deceived by your first impression when pulling in. This home is huge ! The setting is private and quiet. Two family rooms provide space for younger ones. Large dining room table is great for meals and games. Kitchen is well equipped. Usable outdoor space is small but a large patio is located next to the woods and has a large hot tub, table that seats 6 , firepit, and a gas grill. This is where we spent our evenings.

Great for large group
Nice property for large group. Really appreciated the multiple family rooms. Good communication and response to our questions and concerns. Walking to trail was difficult with the spring conditions and the up hill trek. Driving to skier drop off was just a few minutes and we had a non-skier who was willing to do this. Dirt road was muddy and potholes were large. Recommend a higher profile vehicle in mud season. Recommend this property.

I think it speaks for itself if I came twice. It’s better than the pictures. Lots of space. Hot tub is such a bonus. Perfect gathering place and you can walk to the slopes with a little effort. Chad is easy to communicate with and will try and accommodate. I recommend!

Great location and space
Had a great time! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hangout. Not quite walk on skiing for most of our group as it was 1/4 mile with incline but quick drop off. Owner was responsive and pleasant.

Wonderful Thanksgiving
We really loved our stay! The home is very nicely appointed and comfortable even for larger parties (we were 10). We loved the jacuzzi and fire pit amenities. Many cozy evenings were spent around the fireplace and sitting around the large dining room table. Our host was very responsive and gracious in ensuring we had a great stay and that the home was in excellent condition for our visit, and he did a great job directing us to fun activities stores, ski rentals, and various restaurants in town (highly recommend Off the Rails for great pizza - great vibe and delicious food) and to the nearby town of Woodstock. The bedrooms were all very comfortable. Highly recommend this home for a stay for family and friends.

This worked well for our 3 family group. Kid highlights were: hot tub, bunk beds, and the cool spiral staircase. Accommodations were very comfortable. For our group, Not walkable to the ski trails with young kids.

A good place, great hot tub and outdoor fire pit. Good sleeping arrangements. Walking to the ski slope is 0.33 miles and uphill to get there, it is doable.

Great Winter Vacation
Lots of space for kids and family to spread out. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Owner was easy to work with. We would book again.

Awesome rental in GREAT location
Great rental for a friends ski weekend over the holidays. Home was great for multiple ages. Well stocked kitchen, games for multiple ages, great hot tub for after skiing. Quick drop off at the Okemo clock tower. GREAT communication and preparation with owner. Highly recommend and would book again.

Perfect ski weekend
House was perfect for 3 families and exactly as described. Short walk to the sachem trail and quick drive to supermarket/restaurants/etc. Chad was extremely responsive and a great host. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place for a group
Owner was easy to work with. House was well equipped and we had a wonderful stay. Our adult children enjoyed having the downstairs space as their own but there was room so they could join us upstairs when they wished. It’s close to Sachem Trail but would be tough to carry equipment uphill to get there so we just had someone shuttle us back and forth. Kids walked back without issue.

Enjoyable week-end
Our family fall foliage weekend was enjoyable. There was plenty of room for the nine of us to enjoy our meals together at the spacious dining room table, and visit in the living area with the warmth of the fireplace. The fire pit was delightful, and there was plenty of firewood to keep it going for several hours. We would recommend this house for an enjoyable Vermont get-a-way.

Really beautiful property! Loved Hot tub and Fire Pit.
Our group of women ages 21-73 loved this property especially the hot tub and fire pit. We were careful to be quiet after 10:00 obeying the town ordinance. But it was so lovely spending time outside. Another favorite spot was the large kitchen table that accommodated 12 of us with added chairs. The kitchen was adequate and we were glad to see a Keurig coffee maker with a good size reservoir. FYI the tap water quality was great! We did wash a load of towels and we were glad that we brought some of our own especially using the hot tub. The sound in the house does carry but we were so happy to be in such nice place it didn't matter. Overall this is a fabulous place for a get away.

Golf Getaway
Generally a positive experience. Plenty of beds and multiple living spaces. Enjoyed the hot tub and given more time would have enjoyed the fire pit. The upstairs bedroom/sleeping area were somewhat difficult to access with luggage as the stairs narrow to about two feet and good it was cool at night as not much cross ventilation. Bathrooms were clean and functional, but very small. And we would have liked a renters guide to the house (e.g. TV instructions) and surrounding area (restaurants etc). That said, we enjoyed our stay overall.

Great house for family and friends
Have stayed in this property two years in a row for a golf outing/reunion with old friends. The house is comfortable, clean and accommodating to a good size group. The local golf course Fox Run is not only one of the most beautiful courses we have played, but is also just a short drive, as are downtown restaurants.

Great Anniversary trip
We rented this house to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. My parents loved the house and my whole family had a great time! We were hoping to ski and knew going in that mid-April would be a tough time. We were able to get on the mountain but conditions obviously were not great. Chad was very helpful and got back right away with any questions. The house is beautiful and the location is great. We would definitely stay here again!
