September Stay
Our stay in September was fantastic! Chris and Trina were easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make us comfortable, give us recommendations for every activity and provide items we didn’t even know we needed! Will be booking our return visit soon :)

Incredible outside space
An amazing property! So well constructed, built into the rocks, with a lovely garden. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, without intruding on our privacy. The studio itself was quite small, but it was well equipped and beautifully furnished, especially the bathroom. The views are amazing. But the best thing about the property was the incredible outside space that was available for our private and exclusive use. In particular we loved the covered gazebo looking out over the strait, which we could use even in the rain. We spent a lot of time out there. We also used the bbq area and picnic bench. There was a separate deck area with loungers and hot tub, but the unseasonably wet weather stopped us using those. It has its own access to the beach via a set of steps, and when you get down to the bottom there are sun loungers. We had a lovely swim! It’s only a 5 minute walk into Lund, with its shop, cafe and bar, and water taxi to Savary Island. We were very sad to leave, and hope that we might be able to return one day. Thanks very much to Trina, Chris and Lily!

Sweet suite by the sea
Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the ocean views and lovely grounds. Great location only a short walk to the boardwalk restaurants and marina at Lund. Suite is perfect for two and we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and gazebo immensely. Take the hike down the 100 stairs to the beach to enjoy the gorgeous Lund sunset. It’s worth it! Hosts were very welcoming!

Perfect sister retreat
A peaceful and private refuge situated just above delightful Lund. Wake up to birdsong and watch the endless hummingbird show from your own perch above the ocean. Thoughtful touches like binoculars for wildlife viewing of whales, seals, otters and porpoises! A five minute easy walk to Lund with Nancy's Bakery, Boardwalk Café, Pollen Sweaters and Sassy Mack's ice cream kiosk. Also several artisans within a few minutes walk. Water Taxi to Savary Island and Desolation Sound was easy to arrange and although we didn't get into a kayak this time Terracentric Coastal Adventures is also in the village. We felt right at home thanks to Trina, Chris and their adorable dog Lily. Trina was very responsive to any questions we had and provided lovely guidance on where to swim and hike based on our capabilities. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We look forward to our next visit!

Gorgeous place
Trina and her husband were wonderful hosts. Their home with the guest studio is perched above Lund with a magnificent view. Lund harbour is an easy walk away, allowing access to the water taxi to Savary Island and exploration tours into Desolation Sound. I had a fabulous time visiting this gorgeous corner of our planet and hope to return.

I loved that the ocean was right there. Large windows allowed me to clearly see the ocean and the binoculars the owners lent me I was able to see porpoises and harber seals, there were so many beautiful humming birds and many other kinds of birds including many eagles every day right in front of our studio window. We brought our own kayaks and really enjoyed kayaking right there, we even went across to the island on the other side an easy 45 minute paddle. The studio was fantastic and very tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the gazebo on one landing to relax outside overlooking the ocean and beautiful landscape around. As well as the hot tub which is also overlooking the ocean and there is no light pollution so you can sky watch if you can stay up long enough which I only managed one of the 9 days there we were so busy playing hard and falling asleep early in exhaustion. Chris and Trina are absolutely amazing hosts/owners and we're very accommodating should we need anything. I don't hesitate to recommend this beautiful place to stay at.

Beautiful spot
A beautiful spot within a short walk of cafes and restaurants and overlooking the ocean with views of Savary. Hosts were attentive and friendly but gave us lots of privacy (they live on site).

Sometimes when you see pictures on a website that seem to be too good to be true, I can't say that about this property. The views you see from the various locations including the Studio, the gazebo and hot tub are outstanding! The hosts give you complete privacy for all these locations. They are quick to respond to any questions you have and show you how the various amenities work. Would stay there again and recommend to anyone who asks.

Whale of a time 🐋
Trina and Chris' place is fantastic. The view is incredible from the suite, the hotub, and bbq area. We loved lounging in the seating area watching the sea life. We spotted seals, sea lions, and even whales. Chris and Trina went the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable stay and were a great resource of local information and recomendations. We sampled some of Lund's tastey restaraunts and went sea kayaking.

Love this spot!
We had a wonderful stay at Lily’s Pad! Trina and Chris were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. The cabin is beautifully appointed, modern and very clean, with nothing missing that we might have needed. The views from the gazebo and hot tub are spectacular and the steps down to the beach were worth it. Not a swimming beach but a nice place to sit and watch the boats go back and forth to Savary Island. Only a 5 minute walk to the village for the bakery and restaurants. We found the temperature just perfect in the late summer heat wave, just kept the shades down and it was fine with the heat/cooling pump. We were also lucky Trina worked for Terracentric Tours and helped us book a zodiac trip so we got to see a humpback whale in Desolation Sound. What a beautiful spot, we will be back soon!

Beautiful location
Trina and Chris's suite was well appointed, immaculate, and the bed was comfortable. The view was stunning and it was a very easy walk to Lund. Trina went out of her way to be helpful, supplying anything that we might need and it was wonderful to have full access to the sauna and hot tub. The only thing that we did not realize from reviews and the listing was that the porch sitting area in the photos was not adjacent to the suite but was down below. There is no patio or sitting area off the suite. It was still very comfortable and a lovely spot, and our hosts worked to stay out of our way, but it was a surprise that all of the amenities were spread around the property down a flight of stairs from the suite. Overall, a great place to stay in Lund.

Stunning property
This gorgeous rental is a delight. Every detail has been considered to enhance the guest experience. Walk down the stairs to the beach for a swim and wind down afterwards in the sauna. The location is a 5 minute walk from the heart of Lund: water taxi, Nancy's Bakery, the general store & Boardwalk restaurant. There are breathtaking ocean views and many unique places on the property for relaxation. Thank you, Trina & Chris, for the lovely time!

Fantastic stay
Wevhad a wonderful time in Lund. Our hosts, Trina and Chris, were awesome. They were enganging, knowlegeble of the area and always willing to chat if we wanted to. On top of that, we had been on a kayaking trip and lost a nag.Trina went above and beyond to reach out to all her contacts to find for us. Willing to ship to us! Our Studio stay was comfortable. We had a fridge, sink, huge bathroom with great shower and very comfy bed. Air con was much needed. The space was very clean and comfy. And the areas outside( at least 3) To sit and enjoy the scenery (amazing)were ample and very relaxing. Stay here. Its a home away from home but better.

Peaceful and Quiet
It is very apparent that our hosts Trina and Chris take great pride in their property. They had covered every detail to make our stay not wanting of anything! They provided so much to experience on their property alone (hot tub, sauna, fire pit, floaties off the rocky beach, etc) that it was impossible for us to experience it all during our short 2-day/2-night stay, so we will have to come back! The bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette were lovely. They had provided everything we needed to ensure that we were comfortable and that we felt most welcome. The 5-minute walk into Lund from their place was so convenient; there is no need to take your own vehicle out after checked in (unless you need to drive outside of Lund), but be aware that there are many hills and stairs on Trina and Chris’s property as well as in and around Lund which will provide an opportunity for plenty of exercise, and can be viewed as an added bonus! : )
