"The cabin was in impeccable shape, wnd provided just enough room for me and two friends to spend the weekend comfortably. About 45 minutes to the Thorton gap entrance of Shenandoah and the cabin is about 30 minutes down the river itself. "The house was 100% up to par with the photos and description of the listing. The house was clean and exactly the cozy getaway we were looking for. As stated on the listing there are two motion sensing camera on either side of the house. These cameras trigger floodlights. Most windows on the house don't have blinds. The sensor at the front of the house must have been bugged or set up improperly because it was triggered every 15 minutes or so with absolutely no discernable reason. No...

"My friend and I had a great stay in the cabin. It was enough room for the 2 of us. Checking in and out was easy. The hot tub was really nice and clean! Cell service is a little spotty but to be expected in such a great/remote location. Would definitely recommend!"

"This cabin was the perfect place to stay for our mother-daughter trip to Shenandoah National Park. Be sure to keep the owner's directions to the cabin handy, though, as the GPS will likely take you to the wrong location. Having no Wi-Fi or cell service at the cabin was a welcome gift — it allowed for lots of conversation and time to do a 500-piece puzzle together!"

"House was clean and comfortable. , basic amenities. Nice distance away from city for quietness. Was disappointed with fire pit by river, was looking for to using but all the cars were complete rot. Would have broken if you tried to sit on so we didn’t even go down there. "

"The place is off the beaten path but well worth it. Serenity surrounds you. We went to SNP to hike Old Rag Mountain and were so thankful for the hot tub at the end of the day. It was perfect. The house is clean, we ate all our meals at the there and it is equipped with all the basic pots and dishes you will need. Fireplace was awesome too. Highly recommend. "

"I gave 4 stars on cleanliness due to hallway floors being very dirty. No white socks remained. Communications were horrible due to phone being very static filled. Master bedroom lamp was broken. Exchanged it with one from another bedroom. TV remote controls need new batteries. Otherwise, very nice place."

"It’s a very authentic cabin, so you really get the river/mountain vibes. The view is incredible, we ate every single meal outside, just enjoying nature. Jessica is incredible, she was really helpful through the check in and check out process. The beds are very comfortable and there is a gigantic bed in the room downstairs. I will be back next year for sure!"

One thing to note is that the host charges $50 extra per night per person, which is not disclosed on the listing. So if you are looking to add additional people beyond your reservation, keep that in mind. "Very cute property centrally located to everything! Walking distance to the cute little Main Street. Great for the caverns and the fairgrounds. The train at the back of the property was not bad it can through early afternoon and kids loved seeing it! Beautiful views of the mountains!
