"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

"We stayed at Keepers Cottage for 6 days in early October. The cottage, although very compact, has everything you need, and more. The hosts have really thought of everything when it comes to facilities for your dogs. The secure exercise field was an absolute favourite with Nougat and Sully, our two bull terriers, they were just so excited to go in there each morning, and last thing each day. Its also great having a safe enclosed area outside the front of the cottage for them to do their business....

"Accomodation was fantastic and welcome to the site was brilliant. Only issue we encountered was the external sewage pipes as they ran along side the cabin. From day 1 it appeared to be a problem with some sort of blokage and contractor out every morning trying to sort it out. The foul stench left behind after contractor finished was quite overwhelming, especially coming back into the main bedroom ensuite toilet. Thankfully we were out and about everyday with friends, so only had to contend with...

"Couldn’t recommend Clemens Beach House enough! Beautiful house, well furnished with all you’d need, great location 5 mins walk from a fabulous beach and 2 mins from a couple of good pubs! Ali and Freddie are great hosts who couldn’t be more welcoming!"

"The property was spacious, clean and in good condition. It was in a very peaceful countryside setting with views of the sea from upstairs. The peace and quiet was very welcome as Cornwall is often very busy and it was nice to come back to in the evenings. Also having a swimming pool on site was a big bonus and the reason we booked. "Fantastic place to stay for a 'Get Away Break'. No phone or 5g signal at the property so please be aware. Signal on the beach, up the hill, but not in the property. Fantastic beach, views, absolutely perfect for me who went fishing everyday. Pub/bar next door, couple of shops within walking distance, but less than 10 minutes drive to Newquay and a bus that runs every hour. Fully recommend for getting away from it all."

"The level of service provided at the Alverton is absolutely excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and you truly feel like a valued guest. For a busy hotel there is a peaceful atmosphere that is quite remarkable. This is the best hotel in Truro and by far the best I have stayed in for some time."

"I stayed here with a group of colleagues on a multi-day business trip and really enjoyed the stay. We staff and the service was excellent. We ate in for supper on both nights as it was convenient and the food was great. Breakfast was very good with the best bacon I have tasted in ages - I can recommend the full Cornish or the bacon bap - heaven!"
