"My first impression was of surprise to the location. I don't remember reading any warning about anyone having mobility issues. The pathway and steps are very steep, and the surface and steps could be better. I did have a fall, thankfully I didn't hurt myself. Perhaps a hand rail. Inside the property you could say was well lived in. We wouldn't expect it to be clinically clean but it could so with a little spruce up. The Fridge wasn't the cleanest, with black bits floating in the water dispenser....

"Lucy was so helpful in answering questions and supporting us. It is a lovely spot unique and connected to the history of the area. Walks from our front door. Good pub across the river and comfy beds as we fell asleep to the sound of the river . We will be back!"

"Birthday celebrations for 3 busy families and 2 dogs Cottage perfect location for walks had to drive to the beaches though ! Unfortunately the Stags pub wasn't open for lunches during our stay Ping Pong table was a hit !"

"The Mole resort was lovely, clean well laid out. It would be good for families but we attended in 2 couples. We had a lovely time. The lodges are well equipped and have everything you need. Unfortunately we did have lots of flies which made it difficult to open windows. And our checkin was 4pm but our lodge wasn’t ready until almost 4.30pm which was disappointing. We would definitely go again, it didn’t put us off. "

"Place clean, adequately furnished/equipped, very basic. Towels were clean but hard and uninviting - same colour and washed/dried with softener would solve. Major issue was old mattress, turned over to a spring twanging accompaniment, and prod in the back. Bedding clean but needs replacing. "

"The property has is super cosy and has everything you need.The owner was very welcoming and even though the property is attached to the main house, they don’t interfere in your stay. Had a great time and the views from the terrace are stunning. The dog loved running around the orchard which is fully enclosed. Just a note, if you are on the tall side, the ceilings in the lounge and bedroom are low. "

"Comprehensive directions to the property which we found sparkling clean and spacious. Lovely lounge area with tv and dvd. Great beds and bath/shower rooms. Outside sit around the large garden table with a glass of something and watch the beautiful sunset across the valley."

"Beautiful location in Appledore. View over the estuary to the Atlantic ever changing and soothing as the tides ebbed and flowed. Second time to this magical little town..and will be coming again for sure. Property on seaward side of Irsha Street and like all the others that side of the street it gave straight onto the estuary with dramatic views every day, and wonderful sunsets."

"Annie and Sam are excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. North Walk House is full of character, it is immaculately clean and the rooms are very homely. The beds are very comfortable. We had a large bay window in our room that showed off the panaramic view of Lynton and Lynmouth. We liked the breakfasts which were cooked from scratch to order, and a treat every day. All food supplied locally. We would definately recommend this hotel and look forward to another visit soon. There...
