Celestay stay June 21 - July 4

property great location with tram literally next to Apt. which made enjoyment of Lyon so much easier. Apt. spacious, fine facilities, excellent transportation advice from landlady Lisa. The neighborhood is away from all sights to see but no problem due to the tram so easy to use. The manuals on apartment and transportation are very useful and easy to understand. Grocery store, metro, etc easy reach. minor disappointment that Lisa was not there on arrival to go over apartment as little problems much easier to solve on direct discussion with owner as we have always done in the past with rentals.

Comfortable, Convenient & Just Perfect for Us

Yes, it's in Villeurbanne - a stone's throw from the 6th Arr. - but with the T1 & T4 tram literally outside your door getting around Lyon via tram or metro connections was so easy. It was wonderful to get back after a long day and open the door to a spacious living/dining room area, open the balcony door for fresh air and view the tree tops. A plus was the TV which worked with our ROKU. The complex was quiet. The beds were comfortable and both rooms had blackout curtains and plenty of closet/storage space. We were there for 9 nights so it was nice to have a kitchen for breakfast or late night snacks. We had to buy paper towels, napkins and tissues. Note that the shower room has a vanity, however, the toilet is in a completely separate room near the kitchen. Bring your own soap & shampoo if you don't like using the dispensers provided. The bedside lamps are not meant for reading in case you like to read in bed at night. We highly recommend Divan the Turkish restaurant directly across the street. Our first night we had a fabulous meal there. Followed by a great late night pizza. The T4 takes you quickly to Part Deux train station which was so convenient for our day trips outside of Lyon. We walked through the Tete d'Or park one evening - the lovely botanical garden was right there - to get to our restaurant in Foch. Great Stay

Great stay at the Celestay. We arrived early and were able to check in early, thanks to great communication with Lisa. Apartment was very clean, spacious and had everything we could possibly need for our stay … including a bottle of wine! Tram stops virtually outside the front door which was extremely convenient. Would definitely recommend a stay at the Celestay.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Eine schöne und gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Die Wohnung entsprach voll der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Für ältere Menschen (wie uns) waren die Couchen ein wenig zu niedrig. Das Aufstehen fiel oft schwer. Aber das ist ein persönliches Problem. Vielen Dank für die gute Kommunikation!

Fantastic apartments in a very quiet area of Lyon!!

We enjoyed our stay Immensely. We were there for a week and Lisa was very attentive to our needs! The beds were extremely comfortable and the space itself quite large and well kept! Even the welcoming bottle of rose was great!🍷 The full kitchen with cooktop, stove and microwave came with full plates & cutlery so we made dinner some nights. Washer & dryer & dishwasher were also most appreciated. We would love to stay here again if we ever come back to Lyon!

Perfekte Infos von Lyon und Quartier, wir haben eine Woche lang alle Einkäufe zu Fuss, die Ausflüge an Rhone/Saone/Altstadt/Parks…erfreut und unkompliziert mit Tram/Metro und E-Bike erkundet. Sehr oft extra Fahrradspuren und -wege!!

Great Apartment in Lyon

This had all the comforts of home in a convenient location. The transportation was really good and easy to navigate and right outside your building. The furniture was great for relaxing and there was a huge tv and good wifi. Kitchen was well stocked to cook in and the little balcony table was fun. Host had thought of everything in instructions on how appliances worked too. Great communication so no problems getting there and getting in. Loved it!

Ideale Wohnung für einen Lyonbesuch

Wir waren mit zwei Paaren für neun Nächte dort. Ein Paar ist mit dem Pkw gekommen, das andere mit dem Zug. Für beide Optionen bietet die Wohnung optimale Bedingungen. Die Tramhaltestelle direkt vor der Tür und der Platz in der Tiefgarage sowie die Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof öffnen alle Mobilitätsmöglichkeiten. Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet, die Betten waren für uns sehr gut. Nachts ist es ruhig genug, um bei offenem Fenster schlafen zu können. Wir haben den Balkon abends sehr genossen. Meistens haben wir selber gekocht. Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr gut, es gibt sogar einen Induktionsherd. Der Kontakt zu Lisa war problemlos und sehr freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Superb apartment & hosts!

We are a family with young kids and this apartment checked all the boxes for us. Perfect location closeby by public park, supermarkets and bakeries. The apartment itself is big and super complete.It felt like coming home because really everything was there what you needed, not something I have experienced before. The hosts have also written guides how to operate all the different household amenities. My compliments also to Doris, a local contact of the host. I had a problem with my car. I do not speak French and could not communicate with the car repair shop. Without Doris' help I could not get the issue fixed in a short period. Would definitely recommend this apartment.Thanks for the great stay in Lyon!

Wonderful stay in Lyon!

We loved this apartment in Lyon - it was bright, clean and beautifully appointed with much thought to detail. Plenty of space for our family of 5 with many amenities. We especially appreciated the fans in each room as we were there during a heatwave! There is a tram stop right across the street which made it very easy to explore Lyon. A good metro station was only 2 stops up from our tram stop. The owner was easy to contact and very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
