We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"Fab house un fab location with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Pictures doesn,t do It justice. Everything was very clean, fully equipped, Inc. shampoo and conditioner, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher, etc. John has been a great host, he invited us to Saint John,s party, with his family and friends and It was very nice. "Perfect cottage for our five day stay. Everything we needed was available. It was spacious and comfortable. Janet, The host was lovely. We also loved the location. Short walk to Galway Bay and short drive to the ferry to get to Inis Mor. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend this cottage if Western Ireland is your destination. "

"We had a very lovely stay at ARD VIEW with Ann being an extremely generous host! The 180 degree view over the bay is stunning and we enjoyed it at all variations of weather that we had in one week. The apartment is cosy, spacey and well equipped with everything you need. Being thus close to heaven, the 47 steps were worth climbing. Recommendation: don‘t bring too much luggage ;-). "I stayed here with my 2 teenage children and our dog. We loved the house and location. Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. We all slept well in the calm and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks a million"

"Wir haben uns im Calla old schoolhouse sehr gefühlt. Es ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Nach den Ausflügen in die wirklich wunderschöne Umgebung, kamen wir immer gerne in das gemütliche Haus zurück. Es war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet und es gab viele gute Erklärungen und Tipps für einen perfekten Urlaub."

"The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. "This place is just perfect. The surroundings and the views are splendid, at the end of a beautiful road, making you feel that you are alone (even if Letterfrack is quite close). The house by itself is very comfortable and practical. And Tim is the best host, very available and helpful. We couldn’t hope for a better basecamp for our week in Connemara."
