The amenities were all great, exactly as advertised. I will say it's a little tricky finding it in the dark! I'm looking forward to my next trip to Maine so that I can stay here again! "

It brought us back in time to days of our childhood. I definitely want to return with my family to enjoy the Lakewood Theatre and the lake."

"All I wanted was to get away and find a little solitude and disconnect from the hustle of life. This place provides a happy medium of alone and the necessity of modern convenience. Most important, it was quiet. Beautifully quiet. I would sit by the fire at dusk and watch the fire while listening to the Coyotes do role call in the distance. Such a relaxing hideaway that I wish I could have stayed there a month. The hosts did not bother my and respected my privacy. Eggs were good as well. "

We’d already been at the coast and were headed to more mountains and hiking inland over the rest of the week. We arrived and found they had put the paddleboards and kayaks away for the season. "Larry hosted us for a week with our dogs while we were on a house-hunting expedition. Larry was a perfect host; very attentive but allowed us our space. The Cabin is very cozy and while there is no kitchen sink, the property details disclose this so we were prepared. It was a wonderful stay!"

"It was a delight, with beautiful Great Pond and inlet close by. The house itself is rustic, spacious and comfortable. Its L.L. Bean history added to the charm. The space heaters were welcome. The location, on a spit of land near the end of a long dirt road, but convenient to the Belgrade Lakes town center, was most enjoyable. We'd definitely recommend it."

"Had a very pleasant stay. Great fishing and pond is very quiet only saw a couple other canoes had 2 labs with us and they enjoyed the pond too, just be aware that the neighbors are very close, wasn’t an issue for us but if you have dogs that are bothered by strangers it might be "

We received a refund from the host for the nights we didn't stay due to propane running out. The host had intended to have camp closed up the week we had booked."
