Lovely Family Reunion Location
This is a gorgeous property with beautiful views, thoughtfully designed and artfully executed. There is plenty of space for a large gathering - we were 17, including 8 kids ages 4 - 15. There are many different hang out areas, so you never feel like you are on top of one another. We cooked most days, and the kitchen was well supplied and functioned well.
The basement is great, especially for kids and teens (and adults who want to play). We had some crazy ping pong games, learned country line dancing in the theater room, had some fooz ball tournaments, and generally enjoyed ourselves!
The landscaping was coming along - we were not able to access the lake easily, but there are several lakes near by with beaches. That said, our intrepid teenagers did take the paddle boat out from the house and had fun. As the owners continue to evolve the property I'm sure the lake will be even more accessible.
The blackstone grill on the patio was a big hit - nothing like cooking 20 pancakes at the same time!
All in all this is a great place - beds are comfy, showers are great, plenty of space for everyone in your crew and the most beautiful views of the lake from the great room.
