"I loved the house. The only comment I would make and it is not a negative, just to let people be aware. The only bathroom is up about 5 stairs next to the kitchen and if you using the bathroom during the night, be aware that you need to navigate walking into the next room and walking up some stairs. But, the place if great and is very welcoming!"

"This was a very magical stay for us. My boyfriend and I decided to take a small first time vacation together and I chose Mendocino. The Watertower is both private and accessible. No wheelchairs, so if you're not independently mobile choose somewhere else. The accommodations are minimal but perfect! The private jacuzzi is very powerful and the shower is big enough for two! "This is a beautiful home with a fantastic view! The home is very well appointed, very clean and very relaxing to stay in. The home is right on a cliff but has a great fence - we felt our busy 4-year-old granddaughter was safe then entire time (there is also a gate to close off access to the highway). This is an amazing place and we can't wait to return."

"House was extremely well equipped, hot tub was in excellent working order. Great views from the patio and very close to coastal hiking trails. Saw lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, gray fox) and marine life (whales and sea lions), and really enjoyed the deer and turkeys in our front yard every morning. The only negative was window screens that were non-existent or in need of repair, overall it was a great experience and would recommend."

"We were visited daily by deer: a buck, doe and several young ones. The ocean glimmers, the stars come out at night, and you can snuggle in front of the lovely fireplace. The location gives you easy access to Gualala and the Sea Ranch Lodge. Be sure to read the Independent Coast Observer newspaper and listen to KGUA radio 88.3 FM to find out about all the local events. Pipers Reach is clean and comfortable. You'll really enjoy your stay."

"Overall a great stay, but the bed was too hard for us to really enjoy our second night. Attempting to sleep on your side resulted in stiff shoulders and hips and our backs were stiff as well. Kind of sad to spend so much money on a hotel room that you don’t even look forward to sleeping in the bed at. We stayed there in the same category of room 5 years ago when it was under a different name and ownership and never had any issues with bed comfort."
