"We had a awesome time but the only is was unable to adjust the heat and the cabin was freezing. Finally the host responded after trying to contact him and he unlock the thermostat in order to turn the heat up.After that we had a awesome time. The home is beautiful and accommodated all our needs. "

"What a wonderful visit to Karen’s cabin. Staying here was a blood pressure lowering experience that melted our cares away. When you drive up and see the wooded yard with screen porch and fire pit, it instantly puts you in vacation mode. The kids loved meeting the friendly duck who met us at the back of the house, and escorted us to the pond. That was our first time feeding a duck and no it didn’t bite! "The owner/managers of Sparkleberry thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with every gadget you would need and also included extra garbage bags, cooking spices, paper towels and even dog treats for our pets. The cabin was very comfortable and very clean. The communication before, during and after our stay was outstanding. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Pine Mountain area. "

"The house pictured is not the one we stayed in; storm damage made it uninhabitable the day before our check in, owner offered to change locations, and glad we did. We stayed in White House Ranch. If you want to “get away” from the rat race, this is your place. Tranquil location with cows & horses coming to greet you. Home was immaculate, kitchen lacked a couple of things, but Nancy, the housekeeper, went to store & purchased necessary items & delivered them right away. We enjoyed our stay."

"A nice farmhouse with character, but I did not know it was in the middle of a pasture that has been used frequently by horses and cows. Watch your step! Once the repairs and upgrades are made, it will be an above-average VRBO, and we would consider coming back. The owners live nearby and responded quickly to my concerns. "

"The property was as listed online. The cabin was very clean and quaint! It is a very quiet location. We enjoyed just being in nature. It is very close to Warm Springs and the Little White House which is a very interesting piece of history to visit. Kim was very prompt to answer any questions and concerns we had!"

"We found the Rustic Star to be exactly as advertised and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. It is very convenient to FDR State Park, Warm Springs, and Pine Mountain/Callaway Gardens. We had a couple of needs arise during our stay and the managers were easy to reach and responded to our request. We would definitely recommend the Rustic Star. The location was convenient and easy to find, but not quite as secluded as we had hoped. "
