"Nice apartments with great ocean view. Apartments are a little dated, but clean and well serviced. 10 minute walk to the Kaiakoura town restaurants. Longer walk to groceries. WiFi is limited by poor signal strength. Kaiakoura is pretty and these apartments are next to the coast with a great Ocean view. "

"My friend and I booked the Albatross Encounter Tour in Kaikoura, and we stayed with our pooches at this comfortable bach for a long weekend. South Bay is quieter than the main township itself and is close to the boat ramp and the southern end of the Peninsula Walk. The bach was a great place to cook, relax on the verandas and hang out. Thank you for our stay, Sally."

House was clean and had all the basic supplies that we needed close to hand (cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink, washer and dryer were a great benefit for a stay halfway through our NZ vacation) I very much wish we had stayed for 2 or 3 nights to enjoy the area instead of having just one night here."

"Everything you could ever want is here :) It was all so neat and tidy. It is a lovely, quiet location. To open up the curtains in the morning to the ocean and the Southern Alps is just breathtaking, not to mention seeing dolphins in the bay as well. It was a shame to have to go home and we would definitely want to stay here should we ever be down that way again. An absolutely amazing place to stay :)"

"The Lady who greeted us was so lovely we’d been travelling for hours and our room was ready so she let us in a little earlier than booked. The view from our room was mountains and ocean, couldn’t ask for more than that. The swimming pool was lovely as were our rooms. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. "

"When we saw the room was disappointing. In the description it said it has heating, but the only thing it had was a little heat fan. We probably wouldn't have taken that room (or hotel) if we had known it. By the way, our bathroom had a water leak (or it seemed it), but when we arrived at night we found a cockroach in the room and we asked for to change the room. Finally, they found that a pipe was broken. One last thing, the description said "free wifi" and it's true, but only 500MB. Nowadays...
