I grew up in St Malo and this cottage was located a short walk to my families old cottage.
The contact lady was amazing with any questions and quick to respond.
We had 7 adults, not couples, so sleep space was limited and we did decide not to share beds, but we are all family so it was not a problem we couldn’t figure out.
The house was stocked with items we didn’t think to bring like dish soap and various spices so that was a bonus and the COOP was close enough to grab anything we did forget to bring. Very convenient!
The beach is a short walk or a quick drive. We did decide to buy an parking pass for the beach since we transported paddle boards back and forth but we were disappointed we couldn’t buy a weekly pass instead of a yearly pass or 3 day pass but that’s on the provincial park. Our host did inform us before our stay we needed a pass if we wanted to park in the parking lot at the beach so this was not a surprise.
The cabin was very comfortable and clean.
The veranda hosted nights of games and family dinners, and the picnic table, swing, and fire pit were just the thing to make it relaxing and comfortable. Family from Winnipeg drove to visit us since the location was so convenient.
All 7 of us immensely enjoyed our time there and would definitely rent again!!
