If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. It was everything we needed and more! The cabin alone was so amazing. It was well kept, decorated beautifully, and very comfortable. Jenny really pays attention to detail, so it feels like home away from home. The property was stunning! I could tell the water was clear from the photos, but those don't even do it justice. We were able to use our goggles and snorkel in the pond with all of the fish. It was so cool! Aside from the cabin and property, Jenny and her husband were really wonderful. We were able to meet and chat for a few and we learned so many nest things about the cabin. The history there made the stay even better. We enjoyed every second of this trip and can't wait to come back!

Fishermans Paradise

The cabin was cozy and very nice. We came to fish and even though it was 90 all week we caught one fish after another!! Excellent trip and the hosts are very friendly and provide everything needed for your stay.

Perfect getaway for couples

This was our second stay at the cabin and it was even better than the first time! The hot tub was a perfect way to start and end the day, especially after hiking around the property. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The wood burning fireplace makes for cozy, relaxing evenings. We definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Perfect!

To say it was perfect is an understatement. Great cabin and amazing fishing. We caught 26 bass in 2 days, my 11yo son was on cloud 9. I even got him out on a kayak and he was all smiles. We will no doubt be back. Thanks Jenny, you’re a topnotch host! Mark

Lovely little getaway

This was exactly what I needed. Removed from noise and chaos, a place to think and write, close enough to home but far enough that I could mentally check out for a few days. Property is peaceful and gorgeous with constant birdsong and frog croaks, and the back porch gives you a front row seat to it all. My only note is the picnic table has clearly not been cleaned from winter, and I had been hoping to work there with such lovely weather. Even still, I have every intention of returning either for another writing retreat, or with my husband for some peace and quiet for us both. Thank you for providing such a lovely place.

Cant wait to visit again!

Hidden Valley Cabin is lovely and Jenny is an amazing host that doesnt miss any detail. Very clean, equipped with everything you could think of. The hot tub was wonderful and we were able to cook out of the grill provided. We definately plan to visit again so we can utilize the pond and walk the property.

Great Weekend Getaway

Beautiful cabin. King size bed in one full room fully equipped as our visit was for ten days. Pond was awesome stocked with HUGE fish which was caught / released. Kayaks, hot tub and outdoor fire ring. Tons of pillows and bedding extras. Loved it. Thank you Jenny!

Father/Son Retreat

Booked for a Father/Son Retreat for 2 nights. Communication with property owner (Jenny) was excellent before and during our stay. Everything was accurately pictured, but looked so much more amazing in person! The pond and property are what initially drew me into looking at and booking this property, but the cabin/cottage was GREAT! It was so peaceful and very comfortable with everything you need (and then some) with very thoughtful touches and good decor (which my wife would appreciate and notice much more than me : ) but I thought it was cool and creative). I plan on bringing my wife back here for a getaway. My son and I had a great time fishing and catching bluegill and bass (and frogs) and going out on the boat/kayak. We also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds (I've never seen so many at one time). This booking definitely exceeded my expectations and it was a pleasure getting to meet and talk to the owners. Thank you so much!!!
