Absolute Perfection!
I wish I could give this 100 stars!!! Everything you will read in reviews is absolutely true and maybe even better if possible. Our family has traveled extensively all over the world and have stayed in VRBO homes. This home is possibly the very best due to the location and the beautiful house but even more...BECAUSE OF THE AMAZING ALEX, HEILYN AND JAIME!! Alex was responsive to any requests before AND during our stay. (he even offered to get cold medicine for me when I caught a cold!) He helped us arrange activities which were so much fun...so MUCH to do in Manuel Antonio! Heilyn is the housekeeper that will come every day (except Sundays and holidays) and she is the sweetest person ever! Always happy and smiling and she keeps the house impeccably clean! And having your laundry washed and folded everyday is a bonus you will love!!! Lots of wild life; cappucine and squirrel monkeys will visit every day, toucans in the trees outside the kitchen window, soaring macaws, and Heilyn helped us find a sloth in that very tree! Jaime kept the pool and deck areas sparkling clean so it was always a pleasure to spend time by the pool. The three of them took such good care of us and they truly felt like family. As you can see, we cannot praise this property and staff/family sufficiently. Highly highly highly recommended!

Family vacation
We spent 4 nights here with a group of 7 ages 17-75 and loved it. Property and views were beautiful; staff was great. Saw tons of wildlife just hanging around the house. Several restaurants within easy walking distance. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Experience
This property is all you need and more. Beautiful. Clean. Spacious. Well maintained. Close to everything. Host Alex and housekeeper Haley were wonderful and treated us like family. The house has a beautiful view facing the ocean but you are in the middle of lush greenery with the rain forest feel. Everyone everywhere was friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved it.

Wonderful property and excellent staff
We enjoyed ourselves so much at this beautiful property. It was as good as advertised, clean, well maintained, lovely views, close to the water and restaurants. And Alexander was a great host, very helpful with advice, excursion bookings and even booked us a chef so we could enjoy the wonderful accommodations even more. Cleaning staff was amazing, even did our laundry. This was a wonderful way to start our vacation in Costa Rica. It was hard to leave!

Amazing Property and Staff
This property was everything and more than we expected. A beautiful home, an excellent location close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. A wonderful pool and spa. Excellent staff who kept the property in top shape throughout our stay and responded immediately to any questions or requests. Property was stocked and we had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a dream vacation in Costa Rica.

Casa Alegria: A Secluded Paradise in Costa Rica
Casa Alegria wowed our family! Monkeys as our morning alarm, ocean views from everywhere, and a private pool after epic Manuel Antonio Beach days. The balconies were like nature balconies, spotting toucans, a sloth, and geckos galore. Luxurious with a jungle twist, this place is pure magic! The staff members were lovely and Alexander was attentive and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic
The house is spacious and beautiful. The view is amazing. It's a short walk down the hill to the beach and the walk back up is not as bad as expected. Alexander was easy to communicate with and Haley the housekeeper was wonderful. Location is great for everything. Sloths in the trees, monkeys and birds all around. I would come back here in a second. It would be hard to beat this home for the comfort, space, convenience, it just has everything.

Amazing house
The best house to be with the monkeys. Fabulous views, the girl came daily and the house was kept spotless!Alexander was there to greet us and show us keys and etc. the monkeys came every morning and late afternoon. Squirrel monkeys in the trees sound like birds chirping. Beautiful view of the ocean. There were 7 women and my 14 year old granddaughter. The pool was warm and clean, plenty of beach towels and blow ups for the pool. My only request would be a railing on the steps between the top floor and the 2nd floor. I would go back to this house any time I would visit the area. Such a beautiful stay.

Paradise :)
This was our 3rd time in the Manuel Antonio area, and by far, this is the best house we have stayed in. The house was spotless and very well furnished and our property manager, Alexander, was always available to answer any questions we had, as well as supplying us with the many things to do locally. The house has a spectacular view of the beach and ocean and you will find yourself just mesmerized by this view. Although hilly, you are a short walk to the beach and local restaurants and food shopping. Would highly suggest renting a car, if your adverse to hills though. Thank you for a great stay Alexander and we will certainly be back to this property!!

Monkeys, Sloths, and More!!
This house was an amazing experience. Monkeys in the trees, a resident sloth, and birds galore! Our host, Alex, and hostess, Haley, made our stay an absolute delight. We wanted for nothing. Cleanliness and beauty abound. The pool was so delightful in the evenings, too. Very spacious and provided plenty of separation between guests. Well-appointed kitchen and bedrooms. Right on the bus-line, too, so transportation into Quepos for dinner and sightseeing was easy, and the beach was a short walk away. This house was all and more than we imagined. Will definitely be back! Pura Vida!!

Amazing
The house is very spacious and well equipped. The pool was great. We saw so much wildlife right on the property there wasn’t much point going to the national park. The beach and the park were easily accessible. Alexander and his staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Casa Alegria. We would all love to go there again.

Great House Near Beach
The house is a quick walk down hill to the beach where there is a restaurant on the beach and lots of activities. You can either walk back up the hill or take a taxi up. It's close to all restaurants and shops in town. Perfect location. The staff is excellent! Alex will help with all info about the town and any excursions you want to take.

Absolute paradise
We loved everything about this property. Perfect location if you want a up close and personal wildlife experience. Our kids/young adults woke up early every morning to catch the capuchins and spider monkeys. There is also a sloth in the tree. The house is immaculately clean. Haley, the house cleaner is the best! She even helped us find the sloth in the tree. We were sad to leave the spectacular views, beautiful weather and wildlife.

We had a great time. The house was comfortable but could use some updating on furniture and lighting. The staff were amazing and you will definitely see monkeys!! The only real negative of the trip was the construction project directly below the house. They worked from 7AM to 7PM six days a week and made it almost impossibleto enjoy the pool and porch areas. Otherwise great stay.

Monkeys galore
The location had a great view, wildlife visits every day. The pool was nice, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked for food prep. AC which was absolutely necessary worked well. No complaints regarding the house, amenities or the location. The manager, Alex was the best and most proactive i have experienced with my many rentals. He contacted us before the rental, answered each text in a timely manner and provided a lot of excellent recommendations. I would come back to this exact location on my next trip to Costa Rica. The entire family loved it. Some additional points: bring and use your sunscreen, rent some jet skis from Mitch at MA jet ski rental, get to know as many locals as possible everyone is friendly (getting to know them is worth your effort) and of course be ready to slow down, relax and enjoy.

Family Trip to Costa Rica
This was my first time using VRBO, and it was an amazing experience. Alex set us up with everything we needed. The excursions he recommended were great. The view from our balcony was breathtaking and the house great. Plenty of room for the 6 people in our group. Cleaning people came everyday and also did our laundry. The was a sloth that lived in a tree next to the house, and a group of monkeys that would visit every morning. The walk to the beach was a little steep but nothing too crazy. I would definitely recommend this property.

We did not want to leave... This house is beautiful on all levels. We arrived at night and woke up in paradise. A sloth hanging on the tree and two types of monkeys playing around the house. Toucans flying around the pool and magical views. The nearby beach is also great. We enjoyed walking to delicious restaurants in the neighborhood and just wished we were able to stay longer. Thank you, Alex & team for being wonderful! We hope to come again soon :)

My wife and I stayed here and it was great. The wildlife you see at the house is just like walking through the forest. Alex set us up with tours with local people and they were all great. He was very helpful and all of his recommendations were fantastic

Amazing, spacious, and VERY clean! Alexander and his crew took excellent care of us. Set up day tours for us with pick up to and from the house. Very short walk to the beautiful beach. Daily visits from monkeys, toucans, and howler monkeys.

Amazing property!
This house was fantastic! It was incredibly clean and spacious, had amazing views, and was perfectly situated close to the beach and restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay and hated to leave! Alexander was a very responsive and helpful host. We had zero issues and will definitely choose this home again if we make it back to Costa Rica!
