Coastal getaway
We have been staying at this property for the past few years. Perfect place for a friend’s get away. Plenty of room to complete our Christmas crafts and easy access to sites along this part of the coast. Hope to stay here again in 2025.

Perfect place for a birthday weekend
Sunset Hideaway was wonderful. Beautiful view of the beach, wonderful bedrooms, well stocked kitchen for cooking up a storm, dining room table that sat all 10 of us, super comfortable living room. I highly recommend.

Lovely home: disappointing fireplace
This is a lovely and very comfortable home. It is well stocked, clean and inviting. However, this is the second time my family and I booked a VRBO and been extremely disappointed that the fireplace did not provide a fire that we could enjoy. We fully understand gas fireplaces as we have had many in our various homes. This one could barely provide a visible flame even when set to max. We checked the propane tank and it was more than half full. (A previous experience with a VRBO rental near Lake Cushman advertising a fireplace, had 3 candles in the fireplace as the only option for use). In addition, the Sunset Hideaway could use an instruction manual on how to get the ROKU to operate the blue ray player to play CDs. We had no luck. This is a beautiful home and we would rent it again if these issues could be corrected.

Wonderful house and location
This was a great house for our group of 11 (4 different families). The house is well stocked with probably the best instructions I've ever had in a rental house for things like WiFi and how to use the televisions. And you can't beat the location - steps to the beach. This was a perfect house and we'd definitely stay again!

Return 2024 Visit - 1st, spring; this one, fall
As with our 1st 2024 stay at this rental house, we were very pleased with many aspects - the view (with numerous large view windows), closeness to the beach, open architecture, nice appliances, comfortable beds, numerous supplies, # of bathrooms, & good neighborhood. More chairs on the deck was nice + having a working garage door automatic opener. We were disappointed that the grill had not been cleaned from a previous guest - a lot of fish skins were stuck to the grill.

Property had a great location. Only negative comments are that the hot water heater was not hot enough ( temp should be turned up ) , there was mold on several of the shower curtains and the gas grill needs to be replaced.

Exceeds expectations
We had a fantastic time at the Sunset Hideaway - it's tucked into a quiet neighborhood and just across the street from the beautiful beach. The house was in great condition, very clean, and well stocked with all that we needed for cooking. It was a great home base for day trips to Cannon Beach, Tillamook, etc. and we also spent a lot of time enjoying the fresh ocean breeze on the porch.

Manzanita Beach Home
This was the nicest and most richly furnished home we have ever rented. Our three couples and two teens loved the beach equipment, the view, the deck, the comfy beds, and the most lavishly appointed kitchen possible. If this home were an Olympic contender, it would rate a gold medal!

Family Celebration
Amazing views (and I must share the photos do not do the home justice), and amazing accommodations! We usually stay at Cannon Beach/Stephanie Inn and would pick this place over and over again! We enjoyed the quaint town, delicious food and convenience of property location. We felt so blessed to have had such a wonderful experience in this magnificent place!

Our family of 6 enjoyed our time in Manzanita. Very short walk to the beach - comfy beach chairs included. Huge dining room table and kitchen island for family game time. Loved hearing the ocean waves from the living room. Close to several great hikes and state parks. Really enjoyed this property

Ideal Gathering Spot for Families or Friends
We were very impressed with the features of the house, the view of the beach/ocean, its cleanliness, 4 very comfortable king beds, a significant amount of equipment & supplies, & 4 full bathrooms (2 with private walk-in showers on main/upper level, 1 with shared combination tub/shower on main/upper level, & 1 with a walk-in shower on the lower level. Built in 2021, it has modern features - like a great room that is open to the kitchen & dining room. Den doesn't have a view, whereas combined/open upstairs great room, dining room, & kitchen has a good view towards beach/ocean. Decent-sized TV's in 6 rooms (4 bedrooms, great room & den), self-closing drawers, self-closing toilet lids/seats & new appliances (lots of Cuisinart small appliances.). Cooking stove is gas - as is fireplace in great room. Oven, refrigerator & dishwasher are large.

For the last 20 years my family and I have rented a beach house off the Oregon coast for our annual Mother’s Day celebration. This was by far one of the best houses we stayed in! We stayed here in late April, It rained alot that weekend; however, the views are spectacular, town is charming, restaurants and shopping was great. The home is very functional, beds comfortable, well stocked kitchen, clean, fun ping pong tables, comfortable furniture. You cannot go wrong with this one!

Gorgeous house!
One of the best houses we’ve ever stayed at! The remotes all had working batteries and there’s a drawer of extras. Cabinets and drawers all labeled so it was easy to find everything. Loved the removable/washable duvet covers instead of that pesky top bed sheet. Bbq worked great. Just overall nice amenities with a huge kitchen island. I highly recommend this house-it’s above and beyond other houses where we’ve stayed in past years.

WOW!
This is an outstanding home...we were 8 adults, each had our own room, two rooms had their own bathrooms and two shared a bath. Bedding was comfy and welcoming! Directions were complete, kitchen had everything needed. The weather was stormy but we had the best house to enjoy! Loved making our memories here!
