Wonderful Place
Perfect setting. One of the best stocked VRBO rentals. Host is very responsive. The view from the cottage and deck is so beautiful and sound of the river very soothing. The placd was immaculate, private, and quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful views in a perfect location
This little cottage is the perfect place to lay your head at the end of a long day running around seeing the coast. The view from the bedroom is BREATH TAKING! The siuslaw river on the back side is the best place to dip your feet or take a tube and float. We caught crayfish on our trip. The owner of the property is extremely friendly and there at any time if you need something. We will be back for sure

A Gem-Book it Now
The River View Cottage is a gem and if you are remotely interested-book it now. The location is outstanding as it is close to Eugene Airport, Florence and beach activities, plus it is nestled right up close to the Siuslaw River. We enjoyed relaxing on the back patio grilling, watching birds soar, and just listening to the sound of the river as it gently meandered along. The property is roomy and completely stocked. We were there six nights and cooked all of our meals on site. The bedroom is very comfortable and the bathroom is excellent with a large walk in shower. The owner is highly agreeable and a very good communicator. Also, since we are from central Arizona we really appreciated the nice cool weather that accompanied us during our entire mid June trip. Don't hesitate-book it now.

Quiet Hideaway
Perfect place to get away from busy life. Whether snuggling up for a movie, driving old country roads, fishing local holes, or hiking wagon trails...this location had it all! The Riverview Cottage is appropriately named, quaint, clean, and comfortable. Also, it was conveniently just miles from Florence, one of our favorite coast hangouts. Didn't disappoint.

Beautiful views, great place to stay!
The cottage is literally on the Siuslaw river with picturesque views from every window. It has everything one needs and the sleeping accommodations were very comfortable. The neighbors were welcoming and friendly and also gave great advice on some fishing spots upriver and the fish were on!! Florence beaches, coastal towns and restaurants are all within a 15 minute drive. We had some great times and are definitely looking forward to booking future stays at this Mapleton cottage. Kate is an awesome property owner who responded immediately to our questions. Thank you Kate!!

We loved this house. A river runs through the front of the house, with views from all windows. The house is well organized, decorated beautifully and very, very clean. We loved our stay and did not want to leave. We will certainly travel there again.

Lovely cottage stay
We loved this cottage. It was very private and listening to the river is so relaxing. Great location to go into Florence for dinner or up to the Sea Lion Caves or the Lighthouse or Dunes. Floating in the river was wonderful.
