Manatees!
First time visiting the Keys and this property was one of the nicest we have stayed in. Very clean with lots of amenities ( kayaks, swim spa, gas grill, etc). Access to the canal and the use of kayaks was a huge plus! Manatees came right up to the dock several times while we were there!! Took the kayaks out to the mangroves and really enjoyed seeing the birds and sea life. The kayaks don't have seat bacs, but we used the lifejackets for that and that worked well.The only "negative" of the trip (and not anything owner had control over) was the construction noise coming from the canal one over from us...sounded like a jackhammer and it went on all day every day we were there. Didn't stop us from enjoying our trip, but was a bit annoying.

Spotless house on quiet, dead end street
We loved staying at Kathy’s house in Marathon. There is so much to enjoy on the property. The house was simply set up, with all the comforts of home. You do not need anything but your clothes and toiletries. The kitchen is fully-stocked, shower and beach towels are included. We spent our nights in the swimspa and it was so unbelievably relaxing after our busy days. We would listen to music, stargazing. We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. The sun rises on that side of the house and eating breakfast and reading were some peaceful moments we had together.If we weren’t in the house, we were across the street in the beach chairs or out in the kayaks. It was nice to not have to rush around anywhere. Kathy’s house is very close to Sombrero Beach, my favorite beach. We had a much needed, restful vacation and Kathy’s house perfected the trip.

Perfect place for family with adult children
My husband and I and our adult children loved our stay. The property has plenty of room for 5 adults to spread out and it was very well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the swimspa and the screen porch! We saw a family of manatees and a pretty big shark in the canal! Highly Recommended!

Amazing house, great location
We've stayed in Marathon at several locations and this is our favorite. The house was clean, checking in and out was easy, and the host was very responsive. Swimspa was a bonus. Close to great restaurants, a short drive to Bahia Honda State Park, and 1 hr drive to Key West.

Enjoyed our stay!
There was a little something for everyone…quiet property/neighborhood for relaxing, kayaking, fishing, etc. The property was well maintained and in a great centralized location in the Keys. The check-in/out process was easy to follow and communication with the property owner was prompt. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Property
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was immaculate when we checked in. Kathy, the host, was very responsive, and gave lots of great suggestions of things we could do with our time there. Our favorite part about the house is all the great outdoor spaces. You can hang out in the hot tub out back, sit in the screened porch, or on the lower patio in the shade. Our favorite outdoor space was the lot across the street that bordered the canal. This was a perfect place to unwind in the evening and listen to the fish jump or sit in the morning and sip your coffee. We even had six manatees come right up to the dock to visit us while we were out there. This is a great property, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to spend time in marathon.

Beautiful Home in a Quiet Neighborhood
This was a great place to stay on a beautiful property that was conveniently close to everything we needed. The master bed was so comfortable I asked the owner for the mattress topper info so I can order one for home. We really enjoyed the private spapool each night and spending time fishing on the dock in the mornings. We had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.

Great family trip!!
This spot is perfect. Close to grocery stores, gas stations, local restaurants. Loved the swim spa, loved the area underneath the house and the canal front. We went out on kayaks almost everyday! Kathy, the host/owner is amazing! No issues at all. Highly reconmend and will be back

Keys Get Away
The home was gorgeous! The relaxing area down by the dock was wonderful. My grandson had a great time trying to hook a tarpon that was in the canal all week. The host and hostess of the home were awesome. If there was a question or concern they were right on it. Hope to rent from them again in the future. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful stay
We had the best graduation/end of summer/family vacation. The weather didn’t cooperate a few days but the house and accommodations were perfect. We saw manatees right behind the property sea wall. Kathy the host was so quick and easy to communicate to with any questions we had. Everything was just wonderful.

Family Vacation
We loved everything about the house!! The location was perfect. We rented a boat & was able to dock it at the house. The individuals that rented the house by us that is also owned by this couple, was so nice!! We all had supper together one night at their rental house. We seen a nerf shark, tarpon & manatee at our canal lot. We will try to stay here again when we get back down here.

Great Stay!!
The property is lovely. The house is inviting and very clean, also well stocked if you want to do your own cooking. Location is great, plenty of great restaurants near by. We loved the space across the street, had fun fishing and saw manatees. We had a wonderful kayak ride and enjoyed sunbathing for hours. The property is very well cared for and it shows. We will be back! Also, if you are looking to book a charter make sure you call Captain Jays right down the road, they put us right on the fish and we’re very accommodating. We will be back!

Amazing Experience
This was our 3rd time booking a stay in the Keys through Vrbo. 1st time taking my wife’s parents down to the keys. The Home & Property were a 5 Star ⭐️ experience across the board. Our Host Kathy responded back in a timely manner whenever we reached out. The location of this home puts you within reach of any activity in the Keys your Family may want to experience. The 50’ dock was more than enough space for our rental boat. Caught a Tarpon right off the dock the dock very first day. Made a ton of Great Family memories that will last a lifetime. Would recommend this to anyone who wants the Florida Keys experience. Thank you, Doug

Florida Keys Getaway
Just like the description and pics, but better. Very nice place, roomy. Great location on the canal. Backyard has beautiful foliage, and very spacious. Great location, everything is right there - restaurants, grocery, gym, snorkeling tours, etc. Also fished, swam/snorkeled right off the dock in the canal. Swim spa, and backyard in general is very relaxing. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything, nice appliances. Overall nice amenities, used and appreciated.

Fantastic home in Marathon
We had a fabulous time exploring the Keys while staying at this house. Two kayaks, a swim spa, everything you could want or need for a beach vacation (including a cooler and beach towels) were here. A very short drive from Sombrero Beach and easy access to both the upper and lower keys. Dinners on the screened in porch were fantastic! We will miss this place!
