The farmhouse is very nice. And oh so quiet we were amazed that we only heard one other vehicle in the two days we were here. If you say there’s a little restaurant called Maw Maws diner. I highly recommend it for breakfast

Great location, loft beds were great for our kids because they are elementary school age but it said they should not hold over 100 lbs and I would agree. Updated kitchen was beautiful.

A relaxing and fun cottage
The accommodations we found as promised. We particularly appreciated the well planned kitchen with a good supply of dishes, pans, pots, utensils, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the porch was a favorite place to sit and enjoy conversation with each other.

Excellent property
This was a perfect fit for all our children and grandchildren. Everything was in great shape with many modern upgrades. Despite not having central air conditioning, the house was kept comfortably cool with the individual air conditioners throughout the house. The location was an easy walk to the lakeside activities. The only drawback for us was the exorbitant community fees.

Lovely Laurel haus at Lakeside
The Laurel haus was a great fit for our family of 6 adults and 6 kids! True to its description, the beds were comfy and kitchen was large and stocked with anything you will need. In addition to the kitchen being well equipped, the cottage had toys, books and games, sand toys, tennis racquets and fishing poles. The overall spacious layout allowed us to spread out. Many of us were drawn to the screened in porch! The kitchen and bath were updated, however, the house retained its vintage cottage charm and Lakeside feel. Location and cleanliness were excellent .

Very nice cottage for family to gather for reunion... close to central downtown, lakefront, and activities. Nice kitchen, porches, and sitting area. Only issue was cleanliness issues.

Perfect Lakeside Home
The Laurel Haus was perfect for our family with plenty of room for everyone. The mattrices were amazing so we all slept great. Everything was just as described and we loved this home. We highly recommend for anyone visiting Lakeside.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at 344 Laurel. I could see us booking an entire week at this house during the summer of 2024. It was a perfect space for us.

A great location and a fun house
This was our first time in Lakeside and Laurel Haus was perfect for us. It's in a quiet part of town near the lake and the pool/fitness facility. We loved the short walk along the water into the heart of the town. The house itself is quaint and has character but was very clean and we loved the recently upgraded kitchen/bath and sofas. The screened porch was wonderful. It has one full bath and bedroom downstairs which was great for our older traveler who couldn't have made it upstairs. Plenty of space to park out front and fun to sit around in the backyard as well. I'd definitely recommend a stay here, somehow I think the pictures don't quite do this place justice.

Awesome location
Overall positive experience from the property. Cottage was exactly as advertised in the pictures and the AC kept all the rooms cool. Cottage is centrally located to the pool and downtown. Parking was pretty tight for our two SUV’s though.

Very relaxing
Looking at the online picture, it would almost appear that there aren’t any houses close by, but it’s a village of houses very close together. It’s fairly quiet. People walking, bikes going up and down the streets, golf carts out and about. The house is an old house but kept up fairly nice. There are NO overstuffed chairs or couches, which we really missed. No comfy place to sit and put your feet up! We loved walking down along the lakeside path! It was our first time in this vicinity, alittle different vacation than what we would normally be used to.

The pictures on Vrbo sight are not accurate. The property outside was very overgrown with weeds, so any outside activities at the house were not possible with small children. The inside did not have the room air conditioners in all but one bedroom as the description indicated. The owner did compensate for that and was much appreciated. Beds were very comfortable and porch was a great place to gather.

A comfy, relaxing home away from home....
If one is looking for a lovely, relaxing, get away with a beautiful view of the lake within easy walking distance then this is definitely the place for you- The communication with the guest contact was exceptionally positive. All of our questions were answered almost immediately and when something was needed it was delivered to the front door! We would definitely take another vacation at this home. Thank you to the owners for sharing with us-
