"Stayed here for a night while traveling in the area. House was well appointed. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Didnt get a change to go in the hot tub but it was nice and hot. Buck hunter was super fun. Coffee bar was great in the morning. I would stay again. Thanks Remy"

"Our dogs loved the yard and home comfort of the cabin. Very close to quite a few waterfalls, the harbor and the Copper Peak ski jump. Awesome to bike from to all those spots or hike. Highly recommend if you have dogs. Sad we didn't get to try the pub next door, but we will next time!"

"We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!"

"This house was perfect for what we needed. Our family used to have a house on Spider Lake so this was like going home. The rooms are very small and there is not a ton of space, but it was perfect for what we needed at the time. The beds are comfy, but the one bedroom with twin beds is barely moveable - they are end to end with no walking room so it is not good for 2 adults (kids would have no issue). We walked between the home and our friends place with no issues and the stars were beautiful....

"We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. "This weekend was a perfect get away. The house was cute and quaint. We felt comfortable and at home while staying here. We have two little boys and they absolutely loved the yard, beach and dock. They spent all day playing in the water and sand letting their imaginations run wild. The lake was perfect for cruises, fishing was hit and miss this weekend but still caught a Northern, large mouth bass and little blue gills. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice get away weekend...

"Very nice stay. Perfectly located for us. Very comfortable and everything you need is there. The only reason for 4 stars on cleanliness was that there were hairs on two different bed sheets and in the shower. We definitely will stay here again"

The hosts live on the top floor and rent out the bottom floor of this charming tri level. "It is the Best Available Option, pet friendly near to Porcupine State Park. Very convenient if you plan to hike the park. Room was clean and has a good size, beds are very comfortable. Bathroom clean, towels good quality. I will return to this hotel if I come to this area again. "
