This property was great! Super clean and comfortable. Lots of space for everyone and cute additions for dogs. Lots of kitchen supplies and a few staple grocery items in the pantry. So peaceful and quiet and tons of stars at Night! Just make sure to keep the doors closed as the little tiny flies and moths like to come in and will swarm the lights! If you’re looking to head to Yosemite it’ll take you about an hour and a half to get into the park at either west entrance.

Lovely property
The Barngalow is a very well maintained and well supplied property. Hosts are very responsive and have tried to supply everything needed for an enjoyable stay. We were able to cook out and use the hot tub and very much enjoyed our stay. The property is a bit remote and quite a long drive on a narrow but paved road in from Mariposa - the drive out to Yosemite park gate ( a little under an hour) was on a wider road and actually closer to the park than Mariposa. The valley is a bit of a drive on past the gate (possibly with traffic) and so is more than an hour away. I personally wouldn’t want to drive it after dark. There is a small market near El Portal where we got a few groceries on the way back from the park . Pebble drive is a little steep and could be challenging in some weather. We didn’t need it but the electric car charger was a very nice option . Thank you to the hosts for going above and beyond to give their guests a nice holiday!

Beautiful peaceful setting in Mariposa … The Barngalow has every thoughtful convenience and comfort. Enjoyed the hot tub and patios. Most comfortable mattresses of our entire 5000 mile Western trip. We would give this property a 5++ rating and will highly recommend to others! No issues during visit but host Kevin responded immediately to answer any questions. Many thanks for your gracious hospitality!

Amazing place to stay in the mountains
The property was super clean and looked exactly like pictures shown. Kevin was a great host and left a welcome card for us. We felt safe and comfortable here and hope to coke again in the future.

Great Place to Stay
This is a great place to stay. Very clean, with a quiet neighborhood and great views of the surrounding area. Communication with the hosts was great. Mariposa is also fun town to find things to do. I would highly recommend the Barngalow!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home was well-appointed and the host extremely responsive. We used it as a home base and hiked at Yosemite (about 70 minutes to west entrance). It was great to come back to the hot tub, grill on the deck- which has a gorgeous view.

Kevin and Poppy were excellent hosts! They were very kind, quick to respond, and made sure any and all questions/concerns were taken care of! The pictures do not do this place justice! It feels so private and peaceful being up in the mountains and a beautiful hour drive to Yosemite. It’s very clean and the hosts thought of everything! We also brought our dog who loved being off leash in the fenced in yard, so we didn’t have to worry while we were enjoying outside as well. Will definitely be back and will recommend this to place to anyone! Can’t say enough good things about it and the hosts!

This was absolutely our favorite rental by far! The host communicated the entire time, the place was clean, modern and fabulous. Everything worked as expected, the hot tub was amazing, quiet location for relaxation, it was an absolute dream! I've already recommended to all my friends, and highly recommend to anyone interested in visiting Yosemite. It's 15 min from Mariposa, so food/shopping/gas is easy access. Loved everything about this experience, thank you!

Quiet, beautiful getaway
We were looking for something away from the busy tourist areas of Yosemite, and we found this amazing barngalow. It has everything you need to be comfortable, soaking in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was ideal, and it’s only about 10-15 minutes from town for food and drinks. Only about an hour of scenic drive to get up to Yosemite. Truly and amazing spot!

Perfect place to stay visiting Yosemite
This was a perfect place to stay on our visit to Yosemite. It was very clean. It had a well stocked kitchen. And with one bedroom being upstairs and the other being downstairs, it did provide a lot of privacy. The hot tub was a bonus that we enjoyed. Very clean and just as described.

Cozy, Quaint, Dog Friendly.
Our experience renting this property was absolutely amazing. It was clean, cozy, and most importantly, DOG FRIENDLY!! We love to travel with our two dogs but it is so difficult to find a place that doesn’t break the bank and has a FULLY fenced yard. In addition to pet friendly, it is also very human friendly ;) The secluded and picturesque location gave us the opportunity to utilize the well appointed kitchen, grill, hot tub, and patio. It felt like our own little slice of paradise with the whole family there. If we could give 6 stars, we would. If you have the opportunity to rent this space, jump on it! You won’t regret it! We will look to revisit when we are back out that way.

Fantastic Stay, even in a winter storm
Our stay was lovely and so enjoyable. The Barngalow was very cozy and well appointed. I was very pleased with the kitchen amenities as we were snowed in and needed to prepare most of our meals. The beds were very comfortable as well and this was surprising as they were soft and my husband's back typically can't take that, but he in fact commented on the great sleep. The hot tub was nice, although we were only able to use it the first night due to the snow (not unusable, just didn't want to go out into the snow :D). The owner, Keven, checked in on us to ensure we were safe and had everything we needed. He and his wife Poppy also drove out to make sure the driveway was cleared enough for our endeavoring to Yosemite. I recommend having tire chains if there is a possibility of snow, but thankfully the local roads were cleared immediately. We will definitely consider staying again in the future. The views from the bedroom were incredible.
