"The cottage was ideal for our stay in Yorkshire. Great location ... nice and quiet in a pretty village with a lovely nature reserve and decent pub. Easy reach of the Dales, Ripon, York, Harrogate and Fountains Abbey. Easy check in with private parking. The windfall apples were a bonus! Warm and comfy, decent WiFi and TV that worked. We had a small problem with the toilet but Emma got it repaired swiftly and without a fuss. Would definitely stay again. "

"Croft cottage is in a fabulous location, with plenty of local countryside walks. The cottage itself is much bigger than the photos suggest I think, and the kitchen is particularly cosy. The ouside area is lovely, especially with the resident sheep. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the garden. Great communication from the owner and check in was really easy. A great stay"

"The Reservoir View properties are all luxurious, beautifully styled and very comfortable, with all essential items provided. The Welcome Box contained lots of treats. A fabulous place for a short break. Communication with Sally, the owner, was excellent. The view over the reservoir is lovely and the walk into Pateley Bridge is great (though walking shoes are needed as it can get muddy)."

"We chose this property because it's location allowed easy reach of York, Harrogate and sightseeing opportunities towards the North Yorks Moors. Lovely house in a quiet village. Generous rooms, great facilities. We were late in the season so didn't get a chance to use the outdoors areas but would be great in the summer. No issues, but where we had questions/requests the host responded almost immediately and came round if necessary. Highly recommended"

"We had two Junior suites which were large enough, but the water pressure on the showers was insufficient for a shower. We complained to reception and was told we would have to take it up with Hotels.Com. I felt this was not good enough as they probably have this complaint regularly and haven’t sorted it out. I asked for free breakfast for the 4 of us and they snapped my hand off. Other than the shower everything was fine. Great location, good bar and food was very nice in the bar. "
