"The Owls Nest was a wonderful cozy cottage with every imaginable amenity! The hosts were perfectly attentive, with offer of assistance during some wintery weather. Even though the weather fought to keep us indoors we did venture out to the hot tub and found it to be one of the best kept and fully featured hot tubs we've had the pleasure to use! Loved the place!"

"My husband and I were in Frederick for our daughter’s graduation from a training. We wish we were able to stay longer. This property is in a great location to shops and restaurants. There is a bakery just down from it that was worth standing in line for! This property was perfect-amount of space, cleanliness, location, and it was so quiet! We are definitely planning on coming back and spending more time in this charming area and staying at this property again!"

Location is right on the main road and there is a pizza/Italian place right down the hill that you can walk to. We ate there our first night. We had a great short trip and the accommodations were just what we needed for a family of four. "

"The place had a perfect unobstructed view of the lake. The place was nice and warm for our winter trip. Comfortable furniture and bed for lounging around. The only complaint we had was when we arrived there was pee in the toilet and on the seat. The first thing we had to do was clean that ourselves not a fun start to the vacation.
