"We were three couples (us & our adult children) in town for family wedding. Close walk into Nevada City. House has both nice outdoor and indoor space so you are not all on top of each other. Living room area with porch was great space for a gathering of our two families before going out to dinner. Lots of family fun games and well stocked kitchen supplies. Appreciated the iron! "Everyone loved this location. The property is fantastic for families and large groups. The water situation is a huge bummer. We used bottled water for everything, including brushing our teeth. The owners are communicative and friendly. The dishes, utensils and cookware are cleaned and maintained by people renting like us, and they were all filthy. Just be prepared to bring multiple jugs of water and I recommend disposable plates, utensils etc. Its a shame bc the place is basically otherwise...

"This property/cabin was perfect for our short visit.1 block off old town, easy walking distance. Visited Washington(town) off 49 to the north and back down to Grass Valley. Nevada City still has an old town feel to the old town area. A little disappointed in Grass valley, it's lost that. Sure the buildings are old but the closure and modernization of old town just lost a lot of appeal for me."

"Let me start off by saying the two-star review seems a bit harsh. Here are my thoughts. Indeed, the pool lights go off at 9pm and you can't be loud past that time. Has a small kitchen not ment for cooking , you can still opt to eat foods that do not require cooking or just go to close surrounding restaurants .
