Nice weekend retreat

Nice place to stay for a quick getaway near the beach. TV is a little challenging as we couldn’t get major networks so we couldnt watch college football on ABC. Unit faces mostly west so if you are there in June- September the ac will probably not keep up especially in the upstairs bedroom.

Ok for the area

House was functional and worked for a short stay. The beds were comfy and clean. A lot of homes seem to be older in the area and this one obviously had a fair amount of wear and tear. The house had a lot of “stuff” in it and felt cluttered to us but that is how some people like it. It was clean as long as you didn’t look too close under cabinets and such. The floor was clean. There were not very many towels/washcloths for the number of beds - especially considering the main activity is the beach (lots of showers ). To be fair , the owner did say they would provide more if needed when I asked about it. If your looking for a pristine Vrbo , this may not be it but if your just trying to find a place to stay this is adequate .

Inside of condo good, parking 1 inch of water always and walkway underwater (3 inches) (womens shoes). Mosquitoes horrible due to the water in the yard. Pool was nice w/o mosquitoes. Compensation for shoes would be nice!

Good location, property is low maintained

Short access to the beach. The front door has lots of bird’s poo. Facilities is lowly maintained. Air conditioning could not cool down the upper floor of unit during summer.

Great coastal getaway

We had such a great time staying here. We had been traveling throughout Texas and wanted a quiet relaxing place for our last stop. That is exactly what we found. Our condo was comfortably furnished and had easy access to the beach as well as Matagorda. If you are looking for a lovely place to rest close to the gulf I highly recommend staying here!

Here for fishing.

We were here for fishing. Did not spend much time in the condo, more time on the water. Condo was nice and served it purpose, a place to shower and sleep. There are two beds and a bathroom upstairs. The spiral staircase is not easy for larger people, especially with luggage. Keep that in mind. The AC was cold, the beds were comfortable. The pool was a nice add and provided a refreshing dip after a long day fishing in the sun. The house is located near the beach, not far from the jetties where there is good fishing. We chartered a boat for bay fishing the first day, and chartered a boat for fishing 60 miles out on the second day. Matagorda is a great place to visit, fish, and enjoy time away. This condo was a great place to stay.

Break from busy city

Condo was comfortable for me and my girls. View was good and able to walk to the beach. Quiet beach and town. Very relaxing stay. If you like to fish, lots of options to drop a line in the water here.

Perfect Quiet Weekend Getaway

We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s 44th birthday, and everything was perfect. The beach is a very short walk, and we loved our time at the pool. Communication with the owners, check-in, and check-out was super easy too! We’ll definitely be back.
