"This house is everything and more! The surrounding area is perfect for hiking. The porches and fire pit are perfect for sitting and relaxing. It rained during our stay and I loved sitting on the upper porch watching it. It is absolutely as shown in the listing. I loved all the cute fall touches and I want a shower just like the one here. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a relaxing weekend. "

"The place was really homey. Groceries and Luray Caverns are just 5 min away. It is also close to Shenandoah Stony Man hiking trail. Will definitely come again if we are back next time!"

"The little blue cottage is so cute sitting alongside the big red brick house. We were in the area to participate in an event. We found this location to be perfectly situated near the event as well as to Shenandoah National Park. The host/hostess made us feel like they really enjoy having guests. We need to come back for the Caverns and fall leaves. "

"The listing I read stated jetted tub & hot tub but no hot tub. Prickly plant coming up from underneath side porch - lights going up the stairs outside only one works - no pen to put comments in book. Overall a quiet weekend."

"We stayed at the lovely property so that we could attend a family reunion at Lost River State Park. The park was only about 7 miles from the house. The home was lovely. Clean and well maintained. We loved the front porch swing and my 12 year old son spent time on the swing off the front porch. We put on water shoes and explored the creek out back too! The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook with food we brought as there are not stores close by. We plan to stay again next year! I...

"We had a perfect weekend getaway on the river to celebrate and be together with enough space to spread out when needed. The house was fully stocked, the yard had plenty of space and a great fire pit. Not to mention how amazing the river fishing, tubing and relaxing was just a short walk away!"
