Thanksgiving getaway
It's the perfect cozy place for two for Thanksgiving. The indoor fireplace has plenty of firewood, and the outdoor firepit has a grill plate, perfect for making smores. We started our mornings having coffee in the hot tub. We will stay here again!

Great location if you want to get away from the chaos of daily life. We hiked both on the property and in the surrounding area, relaxed in the hot tub, and enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings.

Peaceful weekend getaway!
This house is everything and more! The surrounding area is perfect for hiking. The porches and fire pit are perfect for sitting and relaxing. It rained during our stay and I loved sitting on the upper porch watching it. It is absolutely as shown in the listing. I loved all the cute fall touches and I want a shower just like the one here. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a relaxing weekend.

Place was very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was fantastic. Location was great, very peaceful/secluded but close enough to Shenandoah for hiking and there are nearby towns for dining. Host/check in both perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place and experience

Woodsy but not secluded
My husband and I stayed for the weekend. While the home is definitely out in the woods, it is not as secluded as we had hoped. There is a large occupied house that looks down on the rental house and hot tub. The ring doorbell can also see the hot tub, and we did not feel like it was private enough for us to use. The house is beautiful and there is plenty of space to wander in the woods.

Stayed here for a weekend for a mini honeymoon/wife’s birthday. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We stay at a lot of cabins around shenendoah valley and this one was definitely high on the list of quality. Very clean and cozy. We took a hike, enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, grilled, and relaxed on the upper deck. All the appliances worked and shower was great. Our only issue was the bed was very noisy and sounded like it could use some attention or an upgrade, there was a good amount of japanese lady bugs and stinkbugs, but this is pretty standard for any cabin I’ve ever been to and almost impossible to prevent entirely, especially this time of year, it’s just part of mountain life and they keep to themselves. Other than these small issues, no complaints. We had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend and maybe next time we will come up to enjoy the cabin in the fall. Would definitely recommend for a couples getaway!
