Perfect weekend getaway cabin
Stayed for weekend to hike and unwind. Grilled, had a fire and enjoyed the hottub with plenty of room for our 2 corgis. Awesome trip!

Great place to relax
The property was amazing! The cabin was comfy and clean when we went in. Check in was extremely easy and the location was perfect for getting to the surrounding hiking trails. To top all that off the hot tub was the perfect thing to use to relax at the end of the night!

Great weekend away
Property is exactly as pictured and we had everything we needed. The area is secluded and peaceful. We had a great time hiking in hocking and enjoying the hot tub after the sun went down. There was plenty of room for our hounds to run. Will book again!

I would rate this trip a 6/10
Dan was very informative, and flexible. He allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier since we were making a trip with children. Everything was stated as is as In description. There was an ant problem as stated. There was a wasp infestation that wasn’t stated- but they lingered on the deck and front of the cabin. The hot tub and grill worked. We brought our 4 wheeler as the property stated it was on 5 acres. There was nowhere stated in the rules we couldn’t use it. The property manager said we couldn’t ride it. I reached out to the owner and he said that he would make an accommodation. It was thoughtful. We did have some issues with the bathroom, when you used the shower it created an ungodly smell. It smelt like rotten eggs and it was BAD. My kids couldn’t even be in the cabin because of the smell. The property manager came by and acted as if she knew what the issue was.The smell went away but came back again when we used the shower later that day. It was awful. We also rented the prairie view, and please keep in mind that the property manager lives about 50 yards away from the property. We felt as if we were being watched. She parked her vehicle at the end of the gravel driveway- and just stayed there for about 45 minutes. We tried to enjoy the hot tub, but felt watched as this property manager constantly outside and walking around. I can respect a close property manager- but this felt too close. Would not book that cabin again, but if he had other properties we might consider.

Served its purpose for a quick weekend to visit the caves. Had to buy a few amenities (like toilet paper & paper towels). But worked out.

Wonderful weekend getaway
Served its purpose for our little weekend getaway. The kid's and puppies enjoyed the huge yard where they could run and play. The kids mentioned that the smaller beds were comfortable. The larger mattress was a bit harder than I am personally comfortable with (cant make me appreciate my own bed). Think I missed somewhere that the kitchen did not have any type of oven but we learned how to make "campfire cinnamon rolls" as a pleasant alternative.

A lovely getaway close to the important stuff!
This is our second time staying here, but this cabin is perfect for a couple or a small family staying together. Great setup, amenities aplenty (WiFi and a smart tv!) plus a rockin hot tub where you can watch the stars.

My wife and I had a great time. All essentials were provided for cooking pots/panss. A shower, a hot tub, a grill. Great stay with a wonderful view for the morning. Owner and property manager were great with response times and details. 10/10 Would definitely book again!

Our stay
Disappointed that we had to take own linens, people we were with had everything supplies at their cabin, need a light by the hot tub/grill, side tables in family room and bedrooms would be nice,, water pressure was horrible. Welcome email came late so we didn’t know we needed linens until the morning of check in. We did have a good time, just thought you would like to know our opinion. Property was very nice. Thank you.

A great stay
Its a quite place if you love being out in the woods. The cottage was just perfect but also remeber your out in the woods so excpect things. But i will 100% stay again.

Bare bones
The bed is uncomfortable and noisy to move. The couches are old. The step up shower is not suitable for tall people and the water easily escapes out to the floor. The sink was full of ants. The ants on top of the fridge ruined all of my dry goods. We almost left a day early but decided to enjoy the grounds of the winery down the street. The night sky was the only good thing.

Strange lights !!!!
My wife and I watched 7 strange colored lights about 800 ft above the trees looking north...definitely moving intelligently and traveled approx 7-10 miles, west to east , in probably 1.8 minutes before turning off the lights. Amazing area, great cabin, and even a legit UAP !!! WE'LL BE BACK !!!!

We really enjoyed our getaway and have nothing but positive things to say about this property in Hocking Hills. Beautiful country setting with numerous activities nearby to fill a weekend for both the two and four-legged friends!
