"If your looking for tranquility this is the place. I suprised my wife for her birthday with a weekend away and some much needed down time. We canoed the pond and walked the trails. The beaver's occasionally swam by and we were visited by the blue jays and the gray jays. Bring your candles for those candle lit evenings, remember no hydro. "My husband and I cannot say enough about the amazing time we had at this property! Janet and Dean were so kind and hospitable and made us comfortable for our entire stay. The cabin and washroom was spotless when we arrived and had all amenities we needed for the week. So many great activities available for families and children. "My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning."

"Perfect cozy cottage for a group of 4 or 5. We swam off the dock, went fishing and kayaking during the day, and had a nice campfire in the evenings. Located on a beautiful lake!! Highly recommend!"

"My family and I rented this cottage based on the past reviews and the cottage description. Unfortunately, the cottage was not properly described and was filthy when we arrived. We were assured by the owners that the cottage has been cleaned, but we did send photos of both buildings that proved otherwise. A cleaner was sent a day later but by then, we had already cleaned a bit. The kitchen had a tap that wasn't properly attached, stinky dish cloths, oven mitts with holes, drawers and cupboards...

"We had an amazing time! There were so many fishing spots close by, hunting was an option but we didn’t end up going, the hiking with my dog was so beautiful and even just walking around the property was so calming and pretty. We went into Madoc (25 minute drive that was also super scenic and pretty) to do local shopping and they had so many great little shops. The one ice cream place attached to the woodland parking lot had a dog friendly patio and they gave my pup a pup cone for free it was so...
