Great location, great cabin!
We loved staying at Cub Cabin. The location is perfect. Extremely close to the activities we had planned. Cabin is kid friendly and inviting. The kids enjoyed the foosball table and tv downstairs. It took a few days for the hot tub to heat up, which was a bummer, but we were able to use it the last night we were there, which was nice after a long day of activities. Walked the loop in the mornings. Great uphill workout. Be careful with the floors upstairs. Very slick with socks. Loved our stay. Hope to be back in the future.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin
The Cub Cabin was a perfect location for my husband, 2 friends and me while we spent our days hiking at nearby Shenandoah National Park. We saw deer in the back of the property almost immediately upon arrival and it was such a delight every morning to relax with a cup of coffee and watch the deer come by for breakfast and they even laid down to rest in front of the window! The cabin is Beautifully decorated and even though we did not cook meals, if you wanted to you would have everything. It's obvious that the hosts take great care of the property and it's a great location - close to Shenandoah, we visited Cave Hill Brewery and Brix vineyard and even drove a short distance into Harrisonburg to have dinner with my daughter who attends JMU. We'll be back for sure!

A tru MTN cabin feel
Cozy, well-appointed place in the mountains. We really thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Deer sitings daily. Everything works, plenty supplies and extra comforts. great service by the host. Would go back again and highly recommend. Thanks again for everything!

Exceptional Cabin!
From the minute we pulled up to the cabin I knew we had picked the perfect place to call home for the week. This was the cleanest cabin I have ever stayed in. Our son loved the basement. He gave him a space of his own. We will definitely book here again if we ever come back this way.

Nicely furnished, spacious and very clean. Quiet, scenic location. Hot tub was a plus. Host was very prompt in responding to questions. Fifteen minutes from Water Park, Adventure Park, Go Karts, golf, etc. Check-in, stay, and check-out were flawless.

We've stayed in rental homes all around the world. This home is hands down one of the best we have had the pleasure of staying in. When we pulled up to the home, a deer was sitting next to the garage. It was a wonderul welcome! The house has every amenity you could ask for and it's hard not to relax and enjoy your time.

The cabin was perfect! Clean, well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was a nice touch after long hikes in Shenandoah National Park. Communication with Kristina was great, she was very responsive and helpful. I would stay here again!

Beautiful Cabin and peaceful setting
Stayed at cabin recently for JMU graduation festivities. The cabin is beautiful, clean, well appointed and great for small group. We would definitely stay there again, if we return to Harrisonburg/Massanutten. Only suggestion to owners would be to supply soap,shampoo, etc. in the showers. Definitely a 5 star property!

Great vacation getaway!
Our family of six adults recently stayed here to attend our niece’s graduation from JMU. The house was very clean and suited our needs well. It was exactly as described in the description. It is fully equipped with everything you need in case you want to cook or is conveniently located to restaurants if you do not want to cook. We even had deer basically come look in the windows. We would certainly rent again.

Anniversary getaway
Our stay was great. Cabin was super clean and cozy! Everything was amazing except the hot tub was freezing cold when we checked in (Friday afternoon) I immediately contacted the host who assured me it was because it had been totally drained and cleaned. She stated it would be ready for use within a few hours. It wasn't until the next afternoon that we could even attempt to use it. Our stay was only 2 nights, so 50% of our time there, we couldn't use the amentity that we so looked forward to. Besides that, our stay was excellent!

Perfect Getaway Cabin!
My friends and I were looking for a nice getaway and this cabin was perfect! The cabin is much larger than the pictures appear, the hot tub was nice, definitely enough space to sleep 6 people, and has fun games. We will definitely be trying to stay here next time we visit.

Cozy Cabin in the woods!
The cabin is rustic and beautiful with modern appointments, secluded yet in the midst of all you want to do in the Shenandoah Valley. The host was very thoughtful, providing maximum comfort and well chosen details. Love the kitchen! As others have indicated, the driveway up to the cabin is no joke! We had a 4 wheel drive 8 cylinder vehicle to back up in the garage. This cabin is the best, I will definitely book again! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Nice Cabin
The home was very comfortable, clean, and as described. It was more spacious than I thought. The beds are very comfortable. The host provided extra linens. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. The house is really close to the resort. Only complaints I have is that the driveway is extremely steep, the front door does not seal well, & the walls are paper thin. Even with that said I will rent this home again the next time I come to massanutten.

The cabin was exactly as described. It was clean, organized, and Kristina paid attention to detail really well! The amenities were great and my friends and I enjoyed the stay in this cabin. I will definitely be staying there again and I would recommend it to anyone!

Great birthday weekend
We celebrated 2 birthdays this past weekend and got some ski lessons in! What a wonderful stay. Cute place, nicely decorated, updated kitchen, great location and even has a hot tub. Wish we could have stayed longer, but hopefully we can come back for another weekend.

Cozy Cabin Nestled in the Woods
We recently enjoyed a festive 3-night stay. The owner had the cabin nicely decorated for Christmas. There were festive holiday touches in every room. The cabin is conveniently located to the main areas in Massanutten and is within a 10min drive of many restaurants. The hot tub on the back desk was a nice plus on a cold evening. We never got around using the fire pit, but it looked very inviting. The driveway is quite steep and I’m guessing could be challenging in inclement weather. Fortunately, we had dry weather and enjoyed parking in the garage. This is a great property. Highly recommend it.

Awesome. Clean. Quiet area. Convenient to drive to. Fully stocked with all items you'll need to make your stay comfortable. Host was fantastic and helpful in answering any questions or concerns, I had as first time staying in a cabin in the mountains. Will definitely recommend and we look forward to vacationing at The Cub Cabin again.

Great Anniversary Weekend
