"Beautiful property off the beaten path! We found this gem while traveling between cities and wanted to visit Hermann for a night. It was peaceful & quiet. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was great! We took a nice walk along the golf course after breakfast and checked out the property. Highly recommend! "

"Better than the photos and description! The view and quiet are just what you need for a peaceful weekend. Watch the river slowly churn by and listen to the birds chirping in the surrounding forest. Located 15 minutes from Hermann and Washington, there's plenty to do. The owner was helpful and she made amazing breakfasts. The cabin has everything you need for a short stay. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! We loved how creative the layout and decorations were. The place has everything you’d need and expect to find. The bed is super comfy! The host was very responsive. The cafe next door has excellent sandwiches and coffee (but it’s closed on Sundays). Don’t expect much from the “river walk”. It’s really just a sidewalk not more than a block and a half long. "It’s a room in a museum. So much cool history. A great location close to everything in Hermann. The host gave us a short tour of the property and offered complimentary drinks. Be warned, the walls are a bit thin to outside noise but a fan helped mitigate it"
